Harrison is in the best position in god knows how long to win this seat. I really think he may be able to pull it off.

At least this new batch of candidates aren't wasting their resources going after rural, ancestral Democrats like McCaskill and Donnelly did two years ago. They know where their new base is.

I don't get why Graham is whining like that. Wasn't he supposed to have a huge war chest after two decades of uncompetitive races?

It also could go the other way - he's never felt the need to fundraise big because he's been safe until this year. Even then, I think he has a big war chest, but it's just that Harrison has been raising an insane amount from out of state liberals eager to see Graham defeated. Again, not unlike Beto.

Graham has been chairman of many important committees. I'm pretty sure that money kept flowing to his accounts even if when he didn't actively fundraise.

Graham got murdered at this debate lol
I have not seen a beat down like that in a very long time

No it wasn't. I watched the whole debate and thought it was a draw. Harrison should have painted Graham as a sell out to big corporates, a warmonger or SC being one of the worsts states for education and other indexes. Meanwhile Graham turned his influence in Washington a to a positive. I predict Graham by 2-4 points

South Carolina isn't the best place to run a Bernie Sanders-like campaign.

Why on earth would he refuse to take a test? Does he think that it will make him look "weak" in the eyes of Trump and his deplorables?

The fact that these people are literally willing to risk their lives and health for this confirmation should frighten everyone. These are fanatics that shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the levers of power.

Very glad to see my "stop donating to meme candidates who don't have a chance in hell" speech aged poorly here.

If Harrison donated half of that $57M to Al Gross and the other half to Steve Bullock we'd be all-but-guaranteed to flip those two seats.

Not to hate on Jaime, who is awesome, or his fantastic campaign.  Just that the sudden competitiveness of this race doesn't justify massive donations to Jaime at the expense of other candidates.

Gross and Bullock have more than enough money to compete in their dirt cheap states. To repeat myself, if anyone could use this kind of cash is Hegar because Texas is by far the most expensive battleground state.
