This is correct.

Trump won 38% of Latinos according to Pew Research while having some incredibly harsh immigration policies. I think people assuming Hispanics only care about immigration is akin to assuming Jews only care about Israel- it’s a misconception.

I don't see a Republican ever doing better than Trump did in 2020. And keep in mind that Democrats are now aware of their blind-spot taking some Hispanic voters for granted and, if they're smart, won't back down so easily to allow that to happen again.

Trump didn’t try very hard to court Hispanic voters in 2020. He focused more on African Americans and suburban women (apparently), which backfired.

People also forget that before 2020 Trump was widely considered a horrible fit for Hispanics. And now it’s being said that no one can outperform him with Hispanics? Lol.
