Complete disgrace. 9-2 Army being shut out of a bowl game is more damaging to America's soul than anything Trump ever did.

One of the loser schools need to do the patriotic thing and cede their bowl berth to Army.

It's quite surprising that they couldn't find an opponent literally. Like, Rutgers and Texas Tech were projected to maybe play in bowls and I couldn't find any news article about them opting out, so why isn't one of them playing Army? And if they both did a soft opt-out, surely someone out there, even a bad Sun Belt team or something, would have played.

I didn't realize until halftime of today's bowl game where it was mentioned that the Pac-12 refused to play them because they did not want to prepare for the triple option. Pretty lame and pathetic.

Not to mention Tulsa dominated Mississippi State outgaining them by over 200 yards. Cincinnati and Georgia are nearly evenly matched and the game shows so far. And Georgia was the clear second best team in the conference for the last half a season.

Georgia may have well still had that drive but 90 seconds vs 50 seconds means everything. Ah well, lived up to the hype of 'the only bowl game I care to watch'

I was saying that the AAC is not on the level of a Power 5 conference, despite their claims.

Last year they surpassed the ACC at the end, no? Or came very close. And this year is tough to measure but the Pac-12 is certainly pretty abysmally close.im sure Mississippi State could've very well done the same thing to Washington or Colorado.

I think Clemson is a better team than Ohio State, but Ohio State always scared me way more as a dynamic offense (mostly the scary ground game) against Alabama's most mediocre front 7 of the dynasty. Fortunately tOSU's defense is shakier than Clemson (or so I thought....I'm stunned by the Clemson defensive effort last night), and I can't see them stopping the most skilled Alabama offense ever.

Looking forward to the shootout. I think Bama is favored by too much for a fairly even matchup, but I'm hopeful that they will cover anyway.

I would like to blame Sermon going out after one play for me missing on the scores so badly, but he don't play defense. What a beautiful and utter schlonging of the devil to deliver Nick Saban to College Football Immortality!

Dabo is young, but it's going to be tough for anyone to surpass Saban in my lifetime. And he ain't done just yet!

How nice it must be to be a college football coach and not have to worry about things like literacy and academic competency that bog down other programs.

There is nothing more important in this world than football and the men who know how to win at it.
