As much as hilarious the situation is, it's hard to expect from any President to stop and think "hey! Wait a minute, what if it's a prank call?" In the staff can't see this, it reflect badly on them.

Obama's staff would have never let this happen. This is why you don't put old white trusting Christian ladies in charge of the switchboards.
