Democrats serving as Gov, SOS, and AG is just mind blowing to me, lol. Pinch me.

Kari Lake is pathetic. On the ground, the vibes to me feel much different than 2020, when the crazies heard people all over the country saying the election was fraudulent. Right now it feels much more contained to AZ, so it feels less potent.

But watch them interrupt and hijack the certification proceedings.

I’m shocked that Hoffman lost despite all that. Usually Dems do better in education superintendent races than other row offices.

If this is the cream of the crop for the AZ GOP, I feel pretty good about our chances in 2024/2026.

Lake was actually pretty funny here. "Is this a spoof, Tom? It feels like this is an SNL parody"

He was a hardcore Lake supporter post-primary.

Is there any intelligible reason Democrats did not contest the second seat that Liz Harris (the Republican threatening to withhold her vote) won? A Democrat easily won the first seat by almost 4,000 votes but just straight up ceded the other seat.

Kari Lake is still a regular guest on all the Fox evening shows, so chances are the base probably believes Trump.

That's the first official gubernatorial transfer of power this year. IIRC Mills, DeSantis, Sununu, and Noem also have inaugurations today.

Lombardo was sworn in on the same day as Hobbs.

LOL@how much of a stupid f[inks]ing pathetic waste of a human this woman is.

I wouldn’t call 5% wins in Senate and Secretary of State races “narrow” but if that’s what makes her cope better

Katie Hobbs is getting harassed at her own gym by a “reporter”. sh**t like this makes me hope she wins again. The GOP doesn’t seem to have learned a lesson on why we lost 2022 in the first place.

AZ GOP can no longer afford paying 11k a month on their headquarters. Will sell it and downsize.

What kinda building are they renting if they’re paying that much? That’s like the mortgage payment on a $2 million house. Unserious party continues to do stupid stuff.

AZ GOP is in collapse and will likely be irrelevant politically soon. Same for MI GOP and to a lesser extent WI GOP.

Have we seen a faster collapse anywhere? Arizona went from being a solidly Republican state with two Republican Senators and a Republican Governor to voting blue for President and electing two Democrats as Senators and a Democrat as Governor, all within four years. I guess Colorado from 2004-2008 also fits this four year timeline.
