I honestly think Masters would lose to Kelly. Masters is everything the Arizona GOP dreams of - and that’s not typically how Arizona votes in recent times.

Masters: 49-51% chance at winning general election
Brnovich: 55-60% chance at winning general election

Let's dispel with this notion that Brnovich is more electable than Masters. Master's promo videos and campaign style are all calm and geared toward suburbanites in Arizona, even if his ideology is more geared towards the midwest. Meanwhile, Brnovich showcases himself with hard rock music while wielding nunchucks.
what’s the problem with rock music or nunchucks

Saw this today: https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/04/23/mark-brnovich-election-senate/

If it's is anything to go by, I suppose Brno is trying to square the circle and will likely come up short. Also who the hell is Jim Lamon? He's polling well.
Jim Lamon is CEO of a large solar panel company in Arizona. I believe he was one of those “alternate electors” for Arizona in 2020, and seems to have a more solid base than Masters. I generally think Masters or Brnovich would be the better candidate in this race, but y’ never know.

Trump would be a fool to endorse Masters, he's probably the weakest candidate to run against Kelly.

That would go to Lamon.

Eh, I kinda think Lamon is as “generic R” as possible. He has less baggage than Masters, IMO, and hasn’t done everything to please no one like Brno.
I think Masters is a smarter campaigner and has a higher chance of winning than Lamon. Lamon seems like he could falter if Kelly runs a good campaign.

Honestly Blake Masters is probably a smarter campaigner than Lamon and has more Trump support than Brnovich. Honestly a smart endorsement by Trump even if I’m not exactly a fan of Thiel clones.

This is the guy who people think is prime to beat Kelly?

Not like I’m saying any one statement will doom Masters, but it seems like he doesn’t even care about seeming electable in the GE.

Don’t know why but Masters grabbing the water seems awkward.

Edit: The libertarian seems the most charismatic here interestingly enough or at least the most noticeable.

Masters praising Sinema is interesting. Masters sounds like a Super PAC and Kelly seems fairly normal, libertarian guy seems to be going off on rants randomly.

Masters seems like he keeps trying to get a gotcha but can’t because he sounds like a Super PAC.

There’s an argument Mark Kelly is being too technical and Masters is a robot learning human inflection.

Masters just said that states should have the right to choose their laws yet also somewhat supports a federal abortion ban within a minute or two?

Masters just said that states should have the right to choose their laws yet also somewhat supports a federal abortion ban within a minute or two?

He referred to it as a "federal backstop" to prevent late-term abortions.

edit: Kelly now tripling down on calling Masters a "know-it-all." Clearly focus-grouped this line.

edit2: Masters doubling down on "federal backstop" as well.
It was a comment before that. Though yeah this is an odd debate.

Edit 1: Masters says Biden is president, certainly an evolution from where he was several months ago

Edit 2: Masters is going off on Hunter Biden, here we go.

Edit 3: I can’t wait to hear Mark Victor entertain this room.

Edit 4: Evidently not in a good way.

Kelly’s line about Masters wanting to private water was a great line.

Masters blaming Obama for military ‘wokism’ in 2022?? What?

Are you under the impression that high-ranking military officers typically serve for less than six years? Obama obviously had direct input on the current structure and personnel of the officer corps, so I'm not sure what's confusing.

I’m obviously aware of that but I don’t see how Obama is single-handedly responsible for Mark Milley’s military career?
