Necessary. The free market can only flourish if true competition exists. I have never understood why many libertarians oppose anti-trust legislation.



Because it is fixing a 'problem' which doesn't exist.

Because it is fixing a 'problem' which doesn't exist.

You don't see artificial monopolies as a problem?

The only monopolies are those owned by the state. Even with natural monopolies, there is still competition. With toll roads, for example, they still face competition from trains.
