This is semantics, but I’m not sure if I would call universal healthcare a "welfare program." To me, the goal of welfare programs is to lend a hand to the disadvantaged. I wouldn’t say the same about universal healthcare, since its goal is to ensure coverage for everyone regardless of economic status. In that regard, it’s more comparable to public education than programs such as SNAP.

Then there should be a tax refund for those of us with healthy BMIs. Fatties can get it too if they can provide video proof of benching their weight (for men) or squatting their weight (for women).

Good point. Some penalties need to exist so fat people can be less fat. Personally I think some form of weight-adjusted health insurance plan (say, allow companies to charge fat people more for healthcare if it is accompanied by a reduction in costs for normal people)
