I don't favor a wealth tax but I don't see how they could ever become an abused minority.

You can reduce inequality without going to Socialist levels. Firstly implement some form of UHC, the burden being taken off of employers means they'd be more likely to lower prices/raise employee wages, make it easier to start a small business, then improve the US educational system and lastly reform the tax code to have no loopholes.

Middle/lower class people who defend the rich are the best arguments for violent expropriation of the rich and their supporters.
