Looks to be a strong polarization between non-Hispanic whites and all other races, with the only distant outliers being New Jersey and Montana.

Clearly can't be a very good timeline.

Just take a look at this map and you'll see how similar it is to your electoral map:



Maybe for Democrats it's Jon Tester + Generic D and Republicans have Chris Christie + Generic R?
