I'd guess that they are more Democratic than the nation as a whole but more Republican than other people in their age group

Mostly Republican, especially white players.

Though I’d imagine that many don’t care much about politics.

Their privilege gives them the luxury, but some of them have spoken about it

I know that Dale Murphy is a staunch progressive, the same thing with Ron Darling....

Lenny Dykstra, John Rocker, Tom Glavine, Al Leiter, Wally Backman, are all MAGA
Ron Darling is biracial, with a White father and Asian mother
