I'd guess that they are more Democratic than the nation as a whole but more Republican than other people in their age group

I have to think like most major sport leagues/ players(with the exceptions of a rich man’s sport like golf and equestrian and maybe NHL) they probably lean towards democrats. However it wouldn’t surprise if the MLB players have been getting more republican more recently

Probably Lean R today, but with a ton of Clinton 2016 -> Trump 2020 voters.

White ones are overwhelmingly Republican due to the combination of being extremely wealthy and oftentimes lacking a college degree.

Consistently Republican.

Jim Bunning wasn't an exception.

Mostly Republican, especially white players.

Though I’d imagine that many don’t care much about politics.

Probably fairly R. The MLB is maybe 60% White 30% Latino 7% Black 3% Japanese/Korean. Not too many of the Latino players are citizens and if they are not all of them vote, so that leaves the White and AA players. The White players are millionaires, disproportionately from the South, and a good amount have not gone to college, so I’d expect maybe 70% R. I would estimate the Black players to be 20% R. Overall I’d expect 60% R.

Their privilege gives them the luxury, but some of them have spoken about it

I know that Dale Murphy is a staunch progressive, the same thing with Ron Darling....

Lenny Dykstra, John Rocker, Tom Glavine, Al Leiter, Wally Backman, are all MAGA

The Black MLB players probably lean D like Prince Fielder, who posts anti-Trump material.

The Black MLB players that vote R probably have white wives/girlfriends.............

There was a profile of the Red Sox clubhouse during the 2004 season that said, of the 25 men on the roster, there were 24 Republicans and one lone Democrat, Gabe Kapler.  Now, I suspect it's narrowed since then, but the stereotype of baseball players is an overwhelmingly conservative group.

As a Sox fan I was really disheartened when Schilling opened his mouth about politics. I had to laugh though because I remember in 2004 I had a poster of him hanging in my bedroom literally next to a Kerry poster. He probably disappointed a lot of Sox fans who mostly tend to lean D.

IDK, they are young and fairly diverse.

I think MLB was something like 55% Trump 2016 -> 65% Trump 2020 depending on how many of the usual Dem leaners really wanted a full/normal season in 2020.
