Last time we did one of these, I had Dean Phillips chosen as Minnesota's next senator.

However, I think it's probably Angie Craig now.

Last time we did one of these, I had Dean Phillips chosen as Minnesota's next senator.

However, I think it's probably Angie Craig now.

I don’t think a seat for Minnesota would open up any time soon. My bet would be on Phillips’ successor in the house. I think Smith retires in 2032 and Klobuchar outlasts her.

A few other changes since last time
-Utah is now an open seat, and New Jersey a de-facto one
-I now expect Rosendale to win the primary over Sheehy
-I no longer expect Daniel Cameron to get McConnell’s seat since he’s wasted all his political capital on the governor’s race.
Yeah Phillips was going to be waiting for awhile.

I think it's very possible Secretary of State Steve Simon succeeds Phillips in the House, and ends up in the senate. I don't know if Ron Harris is a good fit for that district.
