I endorse for her for the GOP nomination for this seat.

I also endorse a more competent republican to run third party.

Maybe she can get Loeffler'd, but since NC doesn't have runoffs, the democrat could win with a plurality.

McCrory might be another one that is interested in running.

Any word on whether or not Jeff Jackson is running?

I assume he is, but haven't seen anything definitively saying he's jumping in.  If he does run, he is opposite from Cunningham regarding candidate quality (Cunningham always underperforms).

It's really crazy how some people have a short memory, for the past twelve months many posters on this forum explained that Cunningham was not only going to win by a healthy margin (even after the minor scandal broke out), but also that he was going to overperform Biden significantly, and now many of these same posters are trashing him

He was a strong candidate until it was exposed that he was a cheater cheater pumpkin eater.

McCrory is not taking the Budd endorsement well.

He's throwing a hissyfit on Twitter.

I know this seat is a stretch anyway so she won't be a problem, but Christ, I do not want to have to vote for her.
I'd prefer to see her get a judicial appointment from Biden and have Jeff Jackson run instead.

Then I'd like to have Roy Cooper run for the Tillis seat in 2026.

At the start of the year, it seemed like the match-up would be Jackson vs. Walker.

Things sure changed.

He can run for Gov in 24 Cooper is TL and follow the Beshear and Laura Kelly model
I predict Josh Stein will be the nominee for governor.

He officially dropped out, and endorsed Beasley as well. Jackson is still pretty young, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him run for higher office again soon.

He is a class act.

His time will come.
