WV-02 GOP PRIMARY
McKinley (R-inc): 3,750 (46.5%)
Mooney (R-inc): 3,465 (43.0%)

That looks so weird.

I couldn’t care less who wins in West Virginia as the winner will win by 1.5 million votes, but Wasserman doesn’t need to throw a passive aggressive temper tantrum about it by repeatedly calling him Trump-endorsed lol.

Also I imagine people will call them dumb for voting against their own interests so can we skip that part?

How on Earth is that a tantrum on Wasserman's part?  Noting that he's Trump-endorsed is certainly a pertinent comment, since one of the big questions in this election is how much Trump's endorsements will matter.

Cawthorn getting pantsed so far. Would love to see him go down.

This could possibly be worded better.

Are we just gonna ignore that North Carolina has a "Transylvania County"?

(Real cutting-edge primary election night commentary from PQG, I know.)

Seriously though, NC-11 will be super interesting to watch.
Their’s also a Transylvania University in Kentucky

Great. Now I'm just imagining a university where everybody walks around in capes, with those plastic fake vampire teeth in their mouths.  BLEH!

Kentucky has a long history of Transylvanians. Smiley

Barnette leads in Montco EV. Really starting to think she's favored to win this...

Isn't Montgomery suburban? Thought that would have been McCormick's base.

Didn't Barnette run in that area before though?  Might be name recognition.

Fake news. Cawthorn will win

C'mon, it's not that hard to pick a new display name.

Is it just me or is it incredibly odd that a supposed election handicapper seems to have no idea who Josh Shapiro is on 538?

Those were leading questions to give the other bloggers a chance to expound for the audience.

If Cawthorn loses, which is looking increasingly likely, it's also a loss for Trump, who endorsed him.

PA-SEN (R) is going to come down to those Lancaster County ballots, isn't it.

Just voted for Gary Black for GA senate!

I'm just disappointed we don't get last week's excitement-fest during every primary this cycle.

Psst, how about a nice Georgia SoS race?

This is over, isn’t it?

Unless Perdue has massive Eday

It's been over for weeks.

Kemp's cracking 80% in a lot of the Atlanta suburbs.  Kind of funny thinking back to how Perdue was viewed as the "suburban Republican" in 2020/January 2021.

It's become evident that Perdue is really a terrible (as in bad at it) politician.

McBath absolutely crushing Bordeaux isn’t going to talked about as much as what happens in the statewide GA races or TX-28 but man it’s so huge.

I'm not at all surprised.  I wrote this about the race in another thread recently:

Haven't been following this race AT ALL but I'm very surprised at the poll results. Wasn't GA07 meant to be more like Bourdeaux's district and have more of her home turf? What's going on then, why is McBath such a massive favourite to win the seat?

My impresson: McBath, throughout her time in office, has become well known throughout the metro area and developed a reputation for working hard for her district, while Bourdeaux has a much lower profile.  My office is in the old 6th, and there was a grudging respect for McBath even from some of the local Republicans.  McBath is also on the air much more (at least on the channels I watch).

Perdue's crushing defeat is a real humiliation for Donald Trump, who not only endorsed him but funneled $2.6 million to his campaign (far more than he has to any other candidate).

McBath made Gun Control the centerpiece of her campaign in 2018, so I'm sure the TX shooting today weighed on voters' minds.

Her ads this campaign have also featured her support of gun control.
