This alone is obstruction of justice, right?

I doubt it.  Technically all Trump is doing here is complaining, not trying to impede the investigations.

However, I don't doubt that if Obama had said something like this, the Republicans would have begun impeachment hearings the next day.

Can anyone find any instance in history when a President attacks his own Cabinet member? I don't even know what to say about this.

I think the Saturday Night Massacre would qualify as an attack.

Sasse and Collins have already warned that a Sessions replacement wouldn't get confirmed.

Have they? I've seen them say it was a bad idea, there wasn't time, it would be hard to get another AG confirmed, etc. But I haven't seen any of them say they'd refuse to vote for a replacement on principle.
