Um, probably because there's a debate tomorrow?

If you do a rudimentary cost-benefit analysis, you will probably conclude that using today to prep for the debate that ~75 million people will watch is more beneficial to Biden than hosting a round-table in Wisconsin or Michigan that something like two dozen people will be allowed to attend because of COVID, even if you factor in the like 10K people that'll watch it via stream.

He called a lid 10x this month alone. He need all those days just for debate prep?

If you're engaging in good faith, you will recognize that some of those days were filled with virtual events and fundraisers.
