I'm gonna say the first three and other: normal human interactions. They can be a socially weird bunch. I think the biggest blind spot of politicians is a general lack of practical expertise about anything.

Re: the other options. Most elected officials don't actually earn that much and most have had actual jobs at some point in their lives. They still have to budget their income and go to the supermarket. Most people (thankfully) never experience actually being poor/hungry--politicians presumably being included.

They’re just socially weird because they don’t know how to interact with regular everyday people. It’s a primitive concept for career politicians. But with people of high-income classes and CEOs you can be sure they know to speak their language pretty naturally and aren’t weird at all.

The rich and powerful have class consciousness.
