Given that, going by the OP, 'Trump supporter' means merely a 'Trump voter', then of course. I'd have stronger reservations about those who hackishly post support for him every day on social media, although I tend to have similar feelings about anyone of any political persuasion who does that.
I saw a stupid post somewhere quite recently that no 'normal' Americans will vote for Trump. Of course many 'normal' Americans will vote for Trump. Anyone who's the nominee of one of the two major parties automatically has a big bank of 'normal' Americans on their side, for better or for worse.
