Played Hillary Clinton as a moderate Democrat. Got some interesting results. I played as winner take all, but adjusted the map for how the electoral votes in NE/ME would've voted if the states voted by that percentage in this timeline. ME-1 & NE-2 went from a 269-269 draw to a 271-267 Clinton win.

I think it's a joke. There's no way the maps are realistic.

As someone who views the subreddit of the game quite frequently, they can get quite meme-ish in there sometimes and this meme culture often finds it's way into mods. For example, in a 1996 mod version that makes the game more competitive Bill Clinton gets impeached for having sexual relations with a soccer ball. It's best not to question or try to take these kinds of mods seriously.

Toyed around with the mod and just picked random answers as McCain on cakewalk to try and get a feel for what it's like to win as him. Achieved this and I know you can certainly go higher.

New feature I noticed got added. There's an electoral vote estimate that will tell you how many electoral votes each candidates have based on the leads of each state at the time.

Also, another new feature got added to where if you choose to watch the states fill out on election night instead of skipping directly to the results, alongside the electoral vote it'll also give you a popular vote progression.

New feature: Wider range of colors. States will be completely white when exactly tied, extremely pale shades of pink or blue if the state is within 2% etc. There's like 5 or 6 different colors for every side to better indicate who's leading in a close state.

Ok, so how exactly do you do the big shot cheat?

On the mod loader, tyoe in bigshot, hit enter and type in bigshot and press enter again.

Bigshot cheat let's you check the answers to see which ones help or hurt you, and you have a difficulty slider which allows you to change the difficulty multiplier for the game with ease!

Also, the picture of the winning candidate changes and the difficulty multiplier will say "Cheated difficulty".

Also, after you've played a game with the bigshot cheat you'll only have to type bigshot once in the mod loader.

Virginia 2021 mod should begin to come out by next Thursday, though only Youngkin will be playable at first according to the mod's creator.

The creator of the original game (Dan Bryan) had stumbled upon the subreddit for the game a few hours ago. He applauded the mod makers though admitted he didn't know how to play the mods himself.

He also stated that he started the original site nearly 10 years ago and soon added the game we know and love to the site.

He said he's been busy and had been slowly but surely working on a proper 2020 election for a while but also said that it will likely be the last one for a long time and also said he will try to work on the original site's performance including fixing up the Hall of Fame and game by game results.

This is what I have been able to achieve as both Biden and Trump om Dan Bryan's new 2020 actual release. This is available on both versions but with the added difficulties, the ability to use "bigshot" and less latency I still recommend the newer version. These maps were accomplished with Cakewalk difficulty on the newer site.

Oh, and one detail that might not be easy to notice at first glance is that Bryan has finally incorporated the Maine and Nebraska districts so now you see the results of them along with the actual states!

After months of anticipation, VA 2021 modder has released the VA 2021 mod to everyone with a county map and all. You can only play as Youngkin right now and it's unlikely that McAuliffe will be released too quickly, but I played it and already I think it's one of the best and most well crafted mods.
