Also giving pronunciation lessons: DeKalb (second syllable like taxi cab) County; House-ton County; Al-Bane-y.

I found out from watching CNN that DeKalb and Gwinnett are actually pronounced duh-KAB and gwin-ETT, not duh-KAHLB and GWIN-it. Good thing no one on Atlas could hear me mentally mispronouncing DeKalb, Gwinnett, and Albany counties! I already knew about House-ton from someone on Atlas though.

Great! Now try Dacula, Dahlonega, Lithonia, and Martinez.

I'd rather not. Tongue

So many counties I've learned to pronounce this election!

I can contribute a couple from my neck of the woods:

Pend Oreille = pawn doe-RAY
Okanogan = oke-uh-NAWG-in
Spokane = spow-CAN

In my former home states of Idaho and Texas,

Kootenai = KOO-teh-nee
Bexar = BEAR or bay-HAR.

Hi. I think we have made PA blue again. The media just refuses to admit it.

NY Times just called it too. I guess they just needed Biden's margin to exceed +0.5%.

Nate Silver does have a point. If you would have told me that this was the map and PV margin a year ago, I'd have been very happy.

Haha that asterisk is on Minnesota, not Wisconsin

They haven't put the WIN in Winnesota yet.

Wow, that Maricopa drop was brutal for whatever hopes Trump may have had in the state. He cannot afford to win these drops by 11 points, let alone lose them by that much.
It was a small batch.

Was there anything particularly unique about this latest batch that would distinguish its results from further Maricopa ballots? Genuine question.

About the Maricopa vote dump in an hour or so:

if these do not go majorly trump, will AZ be called?

These are "special ballots" too, so they probably lean towards Biden or at the very least won't give Trump the ~60% he needs.

All they have left in the non-provisional group are "different ballots." Braille, large print, overseas, and military ballots. As we saw from this batch, they will lean towards Biden.

I'm definitely having trouble seeing blind people, expats, and military members from Arizona saving Trump here.

As Nate Silver would say,

Hive Sea Knee Off.

I'm shocked that Rouda lost. Why?

Angry Orange County Karens who don't like Russia but also don't like wearing masks.

remember this?

I remember that article, and I now feel bad about low-key making fun of her on Atlas saying she should trust the pollsters and statisticians. I'm glad that she survived too, since she has been a good Representative for MI-08.

Note that Georgia is misspelled in the line "GEORIGA STATE CAPITOL".  ROFL!

That Georgia map looks like it’s in Atlas colors since the Atlanta area is red and the rural areas are blue.

Passing this kind of stuff as "news" is flat-out dangerous.

It’s the 410 Authoritarian NUT map! “Secret server abroad” and Trump winning 410 electoral votes puts a whole new meaning in the “Authoritarian.”
