It’s kind of funny that some Republicans preferred Biden over Sanders for the Democratic nomination because they thought he would be less ‘left-wing’ or whatever. The reality, unsurprisingly, is that Joe Biden has been able to pass his agenda whereas Sanders wouldn’t have been able to do that (Had Sanders been the nominee, Democrats wouldn’t have had a prayer of winning the Senate*) This is where rational thinking comes in - they ought to have realized Biden is basically a Generic D who doesn’t actually have an ideology. This also goes for hilariously delusional progressives who thought Biden would be Clinton 2.0, but I don’t care for them so...

This, along with Joe Manchin still being a Senator, proves my thesis that ~80% of Republicans are not particularly smart people. Not sorry if that sounds condescending.

*I think Sanders would have had a decent shot at winning the presidency, but Perdue would almost certainly have cracked 50%.

John Vihstadt (VA-08), Laura Ingraham (VA-10), and Carly Fiorina (VA-11) are gonna campaign hard on SALT.

And we will win all 3 seats.

That's really nice to hear, but Mark Warner has a perpetual struggle with the concept of "putting one's money where one's mouth is."
