Generally, the "high-information" ones. The low-information types are using "both sides" to signal disengagement and disinterest, which isn't great, but understandable. They have not made the first step in understanding a political issue.
The "high-information" types who equate centrism to nuance (or decide that they must triangulate upon observing nuance) are more frustrating. They have made the first step, and decided that's the entire journey.
Not all "both sides" centrists are like this, but it seems quite common amongst the galaxy-brained.
