Florida: Maybe things have changed during the DeSantis era but they voted for an African-American president and it's a fairly liberal state on immigration. While it's more of a Rust Belty state in terms of social issues overall, it's definitely more liberal than one would think considering it voted for a culture justice warrior by 20 points.
Kansas: An abortion ban that fails by nearly 20 points is impressive for a state that voted for Trump by a similar margin.
Montana: Voted for an abortion till birth referendum at the same time it voted for GOP house candidates but it has a more libertarian streak that may explain that.
Agree for all 3. Florida feels like a state that largely leans liberal on many issues but votes R for cultural reasons, a particularly competent state R party, a particularly incompetent state D party, and turnout dynamics being favorable to Rs.
