Kamala: For the People
Ad #2: Around the Table. Aired in South Carolina Markets; Radio and Television

CUT TO: Vice President Harris in her kitchen making sandwiches while her family sits at the table

VP Harris:
"Doug! Do you want tomatoes?"

Doug:
"No thanks babe!"

VP Harris:
"A little bit of mustard…"

(Kamala looks up at camera)

"Oh, hey there! Welcome to the Vice President’s residence!"

(As Kamala continues talking the camera cuts to Kamala laughing with her family while eating the sandwiches)

"It’s a very fancy house, but we’ve been trying to make it a home these last few years."

"It's always a comforting thought to know that I’m not really THE Vice President, I’m a person who happens to be Vice President."

"I laugh like you, I try like you."

(Kamala is holding a sandwich and about to eat it)

"I like my tuna salad sandwiches without mayonnaise, like MOST of you (whispers) don’t tell Mark Warner!"

(Bites into sandwich)

"I don’t hate the rich, but I went to help the poor so that every family can sit down for a meal like this one."

(Cuts to Kamala picking up the plate of finished sandwiches)

"I know that companies and healthcare providers can bring joy to a lot of people, but that they’re also failing millions of us, and there needs to be some sort of other option!"

"I like the thought of having effective border security, but it also never stops hurting when I see people at our southern border, being demonized for wanting a better life! If you don’t mind, South Carolina, let’s provide some options so that we can make the process cleaner and welcome our fellow man to start a new life in this great state!"

"I don’t like the dirtiness of politics, but I like it when people can look up to their Government with just a little bit of hope, and I like it when for once, politicians can agree!"

(Cuts to Doug biting into sandwich, happy and surprised)

"Just like Doug usually doesn’t like potato chips, but when I sneak one into his sandwich, it’s a nice surprise!"

(Doug smiles and nods)

"I know you South Carolinians would rather be doing this (shows Kamala eating with her family) than talking about politics, and if I’m president, I’m gonna do my best to make sure that we can clear off the divisive negotiating table, and fill it with common sense solutions, so that you can spend more time at the table you care about."

"With your loved ones!"

"I'm Kamala Harris, and I approve this message".

(Kamala is laughing with family while the video ends)

Vice President Harris declares victory in South Carolina

"CNN is projecting that Vice President Kamala Harris has won the South Carolina primary, replacing Joe Biden's historic win 4 years ago. But time will tell if this will propel her to the nomination"

The campaign headquarters in Charleston went up in cheers as the official call was made and Harris' face flashed on the screen. With loud chants of "Ka-ma-la!" ringing through the room the small team gathered in the nearby hotel breathed a heavy sigh of relief over the victory after fearing the race was slipping away from them. Meanwhile the Vice President was in a cheery mood. Dancing with her staff in her hotel room to Beyoncé, Aaliyah and Lauryn Hill. After the initial hubris had worn off, the Vice President assembled her senior staff and family and piled them into the waiting motorcade.

Arriving at the venue the Vice President took a picture with Congressman Jim Clyburn and posted it to Twitter with the caption "South Carolina, thank you". The Vice President then sat backstage while Congressman Clyburn introduced her to the crowd saying quote; "I know how to pick Presidents! And I got a good feeling about Kamala Harris!" After the introduction the Vice President bounded the stage and embraced Clyburn. The Vice President then waved to the large crowd and danced along to the music before stepping up to the podium.

“Wassup Charleston!”

“Wow! Congressman Clyburn thank you for that amazing introduction, truly means so much and I really don’t know what else to say except thank you South Carolina!”

“South Carolina, you have put your faith in me, to carry our party’s banner into the general election this November. And I am incredibly humbled by your support. As we move forward in this campaign I am incredibly optimistic, and so now with momentum on our side let’s move forward! The Palmetto State has shown that they are ready for a President that will wake up everyday prepared and ready to fight for the people!”

“Of course I have to acknowledge my colleagues in this race for their good and hard fight, and I wish you all the very best of luck in the future of this campaign, but I gotta say I think this is the first domino to fall in this race! And when we reach the end I am very confident we are gonna prevail on top!”

“Ya know, as I look around this room I truly see the beauty and diversity of this country. Black and white, gay and straight, immigrants and natural born citizens. This is what our Democracy looks like! And I am so glad that I have this diverse group of Americans on our team! And look, I hope you all voted today! (Laughs) And I am excited for you to vote for me again in November!”

“There is also the twang of history here tonight, as we unite in this gymnasium. This is the first time a black woman has ever won the South Carolina Democratic Primary, and the first time a black woman has ever won a first in the nation primary. I was born in the middle of the Civil Rights Movement and now I stand here as a proud black woman and frontrunner for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States!”

“Once again let me just say, thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart I truly cannot have done this without all of you, and as you all know I really couldn’t have done it without Congressman Jim Clyburn! Our Assistant Democratic Leader in the House! A true leader and icon and a great help to my friend Joe Biden 4 years ago! I couldn’t have done it without you Congressman”

“So! Let’s continue the fight that has started here in South Carolina and take it across the country! The fight for better wages! The fight for affordable healthcare for every American that wants it because we know healthcare is a human right and not a privilege and that extends to codifying the right for women to be able to make their own decisions about their own body! The fight to end gun violence in America as we know it and keep our communities safe and of course the fight to elect the first woman President of the United States of America!”

“This is our moment! This is our time to fight, work and win for the people! Thank you, South Carolina! May God bless you and may God bless the United States of America!”

After the speech the Vice President descended into the crowd working the ropeline and taking selfies with supporters. Once all the pleasantries were done the Vice President went back to her hotel room and got a good nights sleep before the next day where she would attend church in Charleston one more time before jetting off to Nevada.

For the People: Nevada or Bust

"Alright guys" The Vice President sighed into her hands aboard Air Force Two en route to Las Vegas "What we got?"

"Gore is saying he is the 'Comeback Kid' (scoff) and we've heard Newsom is cheerfully doing backflips for denying you an easy win in South Carolina" An aide responded scrolling through twitter. The Vice President made no response to these comments but looked out the windows of the plane and sighed. South Carolina was supposed to be a slam dunk for the campaign and the fact it didn't get called till over an hour after the polls closed was a tough pill for the Vice President to swallow.

Thus, in the metal tube that was Air Force Two the Vice President decided to go all in on Nevada. They would still keep a barely there ground game in New Hampshire so that the media would not paint a "Harris campaign in disarray" headline but for all intensive purposes New Hampshire was no longer a priority.  The campaign instructed all South Carolina field organizers to immediately reconvene in Nevada and meet with their respective supervisors. The Vice President has also consistently been in contact with the Culinary Union leadership hoping once again they could gain their endorsement, using their win in South Carolina as a sign of momentum and strength that would be wise for the union to get behind.

The campaign is also cancelling all of the Vice President's in person appearances in New Hampshire and instead delegating the task of New Hampshire to her surrogates. Such as the Second Gentleman, Senator Coons, and Senator Blumenthal. The campaign is hoping to at least place in the top 3 of the state to avoid a complete embarrassment, and to show they could do something Joe Biden couldn't. The campaign has also closed a significant amount of New Hampshire field offices while still keeping some open to avoid a complete wipeout in the state. When asked by the press upon landing in Vegas about the campaign's New Hampshire woes, the Vice President simply responded "Every state in this primary matters, we still have organization and a great team of people heading to New Hampshire and I am hopeful about our chances of winning the nomination."

Upon landing in Nevada, the Vice President once again attended a closed door meeting with the Culinary Union leadership right off the tarmac. The Vice President expressed her support of the union movement and touted the accomplishments of the Biden-Harris administration when it comes to protecting unions and vowing to continue that work as President. Next the Vice President visited the home of Congresswoman Dina Titus and had lunch with her where she again sought her endorsement and support. After lunch the Vice President headed to a rally with Congressman Steven Horsford where the Vice President put on a brave face in front of the many new Gen-Z college students in the crowd.

"And look! I got to say it's good to be visiting my next door neighbor Nevada! And I wouldn't be a real neighbor if I didn't ask a favor. And instead of asking for sugar or for flour, I've come to ask for your support! So we can lift up everyone else in the neighborhood! I'm glad to be joined by the great Democratic congressman from this great state, Congressman Steven Horsford! The first African-American to ever represent Nevada in the United States Congress! I'm so glad to have you here with me Congressman."

"Now look! Nevada in a few days, you have a decision to make and I know that you are really tired of seeing us candidates in your state all the time (Laughs) but I promise, this is all worth it! This is about the future of our nation, and Nevada you have such an important role to play in that future, whether we actually can have the opportunity to codify the right to abortion into law! Whether we can have the opportunity to raise the minimum wage and lift millions of American's out of poverty! Whether we can build on the work the Affordable Care Act has done and make sure every American has quality affordable healthcare! This is the work I want to do as President! But I need you, I need your support. What we need is a President with the- let me say more recent experience!"

"We got to step up and Nevada I am counting on you! Let's get it done!"

Harris campaign celebrates Nevada win

The mood in Harris campaign HQ in Las Vegas, Nevada at the beginning of the night could best be described as morbid.

When the polls first closed in the state of New Hampshire and placed the Vice President out of the top 5 tier of candidates there was talk of the Vice President not speaking in Vegas that night at all if she lost the state of Nevada and instead having the Second Gentleman sent out to speak for her. Although the notion was quickly shot down by Vice President Harris not wanting to be seen as "weak". The results were so bad in New Hampshire that at the watch party in Nashua, a senior aide told all supporters to go home before the night was even over and to stay tuned for Nevada results privately.

Although privately the campaign was wiping their tears, publicly they conveyed confidence. In an interview with MSNBC that night before polls closed in Nevada, Maya Harris, the Vice President's sister and senior advisor told the network; "We always knew New Hampshire was gonna be tough, but we are incredibly confident about our chances in Nevada and we are hoping for a win"

Their patience was soon rewarded however when polls closed in Nevada, showing the Vice President off to an early lead with prompted the loudest response and amount of cheers the Vegas watch party had seen all night. The Vice President herself also got a sudden burst of energy hopping off of the couch she stayed attach to the entire night and talking to her aides in her hotel room about the incoming numbers. The campaign constantly refreshed several news sites for results, groaning and letting out a series of expletives every time the Vice President fell out of the lead and clapping their hands and high fiving when she took the lead.

The constant seesaw continued until the race was officially called.

The cheers in the hotel floor rented out by the Secret Service for the Vice President rivaled the cheers from the Vegas watch party as the campaign breathed a huge sigh of relief. The Vice President took the custom congratulatory calls and in the call from Senator Merkley congratulated him on his win in New Hampshire. Although the call from Gavin Newsom was rather short and tedious and ended in him saying "I'm gonna drop out, best of luck Kamala" which the Vice President found odd considering how close he got to winning. Nevertheless the campaign popped champagne again and piled into the motorcade to the watch party.

The Vice President arrived at her campaign watch party from the back and high fived and danced with volunteers backstage before she was introduced from the loudspeaker. As the announcement went on an aide whispered to the Vice President that Newsom had just endorsed Gore. The Vice President gave a soft chuckle and nodded knowing that a continued progressive split in the primary only helps the Vice President more than anything. As the lights went up and the tv's camera lights turned red. The Vice President bounded the stage and waved to her supporters to her campaign theme song of "Work That" by Mary J. Blige before stepping behind the podium.

“Thank you! Thank you all so much! Well, Nevada, we just hit the jackpot!”

“First off, I want to congratulate Senator Merkley on his win in the great state of New Hampshire! And another big thank you to the over 26,000 voters of New Hampshire who showed up and showed out for our campaign. Your support truly means the world to me and I hope you keep that same energy and passion as we continue in this fight and head to November”

“But how about the great state of Nevada! My neighbor showed up! They said our campaign couldn’t win! They said it was only a matter of time before our so called luck ran out, well Nevada I am so glad you showed them! You did! And I am so grateful for you! Our campaign has proven once again we can win in states that we have been doubted in and Nevada I am so glad you showed that it was possible!”

“Nevada, you spoke loud and you spoke clearly. You chose a candidate with the experience, background and confidence required to be President. And let this race be a testament to my commitment to the American people. No matter how many times people try to knock us down, no matter how many times we are doubted or cast aside, I will never give up my fight for the American people! Never!”

“I want to thank each and every one of you who knocked on doors, made phone calls, and worked tirelessly to make this victory possible. This campaign is not about me, it's about us. It's about the millions of hard working Americans who deserve a fair shot at the American Dream. The dream that every child should be able to receive a high quality education without causing serious financial strain on their parents, the dream that everyone should be able to receive a living wage no matter where they work! And the dream that we must do everything we can to tackle the gun violence epidemic in this country! And that’s a fight I am not forfeiting!”

“I know that this campaign will not be easy, but I also know that it's worth it. We have a lot of work to do, but I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work. But are you ready to work with me? Are you ready to take the fight all the way? Cause I’m ready to fight if you’re ready with me, Nevada! Alright that’s what I like to hear! (Laughs)”

“But once again, thank you so much Nevada we couldn’t do this without you. Onward to Georgia! Onward to Michigan, and then across this great nation! Thank you all so much and may God bless you!"

After the event the Vice President quickly boarded Air Force Two for a quick stop in Washington D.C to attend a cabinet meeting with President Biden then straight back to the great city of Atlanta in the great state of Georgia.

Senator Jon Ossoff, and Stacey Abrams endorse Vice President Harris in Atlanta Rally.

After touching down in Atlanta, Georgia on Air Force Two the Vice President Harris was finishing a conference call with her Georgia team who told her they had just secured the endorsements of U.S Senator Jon Ossoff and former Gubernatorial nominee and Democratic pop icon, Stacey Abrams.

"Yes!" The Vice President cheerfully replied, even better the two were slated to appear with the Vice President at her next Georgia rally. Embarking the plane the press noticed the Vice President was more chipper than a candidate who barely won a state she was all but certain to win a few months earlier, and who's own Governor endorsed her chief opponent. When asked about her apparent cheerful demeanor the Vice President simply smiled and waved before climbing into her armored SUV

Upon arriving at the rally venue the word was out to the press; Ossoff. Abrams to endorse Harris for President. The crowd grew even more electric at the news and began looking for any sign of Ossoff or Abrams in the crowd. Unbeknownst to them they were backstage with the Vice President taking pictures (which Abrams proudly posted on her social media before being told to stop by the Secret Service). The campaign then told the trio that it was time for them to prepare to enter the stage. So with the Vice President leading the way, the group bounded the stage to the raucous cheers of the crowd.

SEN. OSSOFF:
"Hello Georgia! Thank you! Thank you all so much!"

"Madam Vice President, I think they like you! And I have to say I like Kamala Harris too! That's right! I remember when I first met Vice President Harris, she was a Senator and I was running for Congress and she told me very strongly and I remember exactly what you said 'Aren't you a little young to be in politics like this?' And! (Chuckles) how funny it is now to now stand beside you and endorse your campaign to become the next President of the United States"

"Now, Madam Vice President, you were there for me when I ran for Senate, and because of the great people of Georgia, I am the Senior United States Senator for this great state! And so I am once again asking the great people of Georgia for their votes, not for me but help Kamala Harris become our Democratic nominee and then our 47th President of the United States!"

"I believe in her! And I hope you will join me and the great Stacey Abrams in our goal to elect her as our next President! And I know a lot of you wanna hear from Stacey, so without further ado. The reason why I won my race, she is still the future of Georgia! Please welcome a great leader in the Democratic party, Stacey Abrams!"

MS. ABRAMS:
"Thank you, Senator Ossoff! And thank you to the beautiful people of Georgia!"

"I don't want to waste time but I am so glad to stand up here with these two great Americans as we prepare to nominate and elect the first woman and the first black woman as President of the United States! And I want to say this to the people of Georgia, Kamala Harris has always had our back, and now I think it's time we have hers!"

"Kamala Harris really is the epitome of the American spirit, raised in Oakland to 2 immigrant parents! Graduated from an HBCU and worked her way up from District Attorney. California Attorney General, United States Senator, Vice President of the United States! And now I wanna elect her as the next President of the United States! We got to get it done but all roads lead through Georgia! Georgia you are instrumental in this, so on primary day get up, get out, and vote for Kamala Harris in the primary!"

"So! Without further ado, I present to you a woman! A black woman! A District Attorney! An Attorney General! A United States Senator! The Vice President of the United States and the next President, Kamala Devi Harris!"

VP HARRIS:
"Aww, thank you, Stacey and Senator Ossoff, and wassup Atlanta! (Laughs)"

"Atlanta! I am so glad to be back with two great products of this amazing state, Senator Jon Ossoff and the woman that would've been an amazing Governor, and hopefully one day she will be, Stacey Abrams! And what can I do but thank these two great public servants? I am so glad to have them on this journey with me and now that I have you two by my side I am feeling very confident about our chances in this great state!"

"I'm not gonna hold you all long, but thank you all so much for being here! For your support and your enthusiasm, it means so much to me and to our campaign and honestly what would I do without you all? I wouldn't win that's for sure! (Laughs) But look this is what our campaign is about, affordable quality healthcare, access to quality education, raising the wages of millions of hardworking Americans, codifying the right for a woman to make decisions about her own body and tackling this nations gun epidemic once and for all!"

"That is why we are all here! That is why Stacey and Jon is here! And that is why we are gonna win in this great state and then across the country! Thank you all so much, and may God bless you! Let's get this done!"

For the People: Midnight Train to Georgia

Riding high off of the endorsements of Jon Ossoff and Stacey Abrams, Vice President Harris embarked on her Georgia primary campaigning sweep, holding townhalls, doing rallies and knocking on doors with volunteers. The Vice President has also popped into multiple college campuses, shopping malls and restaurants to meet voters saying she will do everything she can to earn and gain any vote she can get.

Ground Game
Buoyed by these endorsements in fact, the Vice President is appearing in nearly every major and semi-major city in Georgia. Shaking hands and chatting with especially older black voter. The campaign finally settled on a message before the Georgia primary. Although "For the People" had done it's fair share and got the campaign far in the primary, now it was time to breath in a new breath of fresh air into the campaign. So the campaign emerged on "A President you Can Trust". After running through several themes with several focus groups this was the theme that polled the most well. So the campaign began printing the purple and orange campaign memorabilia to be handed out at every Harris campaign event and sold on the kamalaharris.org online campaign store.

With the message locked down, and the Vice President out campaigning, the Georgia portion of the campaign began buffing up it's ground game. They began to schedule shuttle buses to get voters to the polls who do not have a reliable mode of transportation. Setting up a voter protection hotline to ensure that anyone who wants to vote and is legally able to vote can vote for whichever candidate they choose. The Vice President has also done the dirty work herself with registering young voters to vote and ensuring they know where to vote. The Vice President has prided herself on this strategy of personally reaching out to voters and believes that in the long run it will eventually pay off.

Abrams, Ossoff, and Bishop, oh my!
The Vice President also hasn't hesitated to bust out the bigger endorsements in the Georgia area. Appearing regularly with either Senator Ossoff, Stacey Abrams or Congressman Sanford Bishop in the Macon and Columbus areas of his district. The Vice President is utilizing these endorsements to her advantage saying quote; "If we have a coalition of Ossoff, Abrams, and Bishop voters, we are gonna win and I am hoping that they help our campaign out"

The Vice President is also using the current United States Senator and his connections to John Lewis to her advantage. In nearly every speech or visit he has made in Georgia on behalf of Vice President Harris he has invoked his friendship with John Lewis and how he once used to work for the Congressman and civil rights icon. The same has gone for Stacey Abrams with a recurring theme emerging from the pair: John Lewis would've backed Kamala. This theme particularly centered on black voters in the state who will almost certainly will decide the winner of the contest in the coming days.

Veep vs. Veep
The current Vice President's campaign has slowly but surely grown threatened by the former Vice President's campaign. With him gaining ground in polling and slowly cutting into the Southern block the campaign knows is necessary for any candidate to win the nomination. Thus through soft messaging not directly used by the Vice President, the campaign has begun to paint Former Vice President Gore as "dated" and "an 90's blue dog Democrat out of touch with the modern Democratic party"

Although the Vice President has strayed from attacking her other candidates she has made veiled shots at Gore saying; "You cannot say you are best equipped to win, when the last real election you were in over 20 years ago, you lost" which drew the expected "ooo's" and cheers from the crowd. When questioned about the remark from reporters at the event the Vice President deferred to her advisors and aides in the press section of the event which told reporter; "The current and incumbent Vice President's campaign is all about speaking truth and she is not going to shy away from that even if it rubs some people the wrong way."

Final Push
With the primary approaching and the Vice President feeling confident about her chances in Georgia the campaign deployed their GOTV strategy. Tying the Vice President as close as possible to President Biden in an effort to energize the older black voters who supported Joe Biden 4 years prior, making sure voters are registered to vote, ramping up their ad campaigns in all networks and sending Vice President Harris anywhere and everywhere in the state.

The Vice President has hit her stride in these events many of her advisors believe. Passionate in her message and confident in her chances, the campaign is hopeful that a win in Georgia will finally put an end to any "Gorementum" talk in the media and once again show the Democratic party who is the real standard bearer.

As race takes dark turn, Harris shrugs off criticism

As her plane touched down in Atlanta, Georgia early in the morning of primary day returning back from D.C after casting a tie breaking vote in the dead of night. The Vice President was met by an onslaught of reporters, national, local and foreign. The Vice President waved as she descended the steps of Air Force Two and quickly hustled to the armored SUV that was to take her to her final GOTV event in the state. Once seated comfortably in the backseat several aides climbed in alongside her and squatted down in neighboring seats.

"Ma'am, you have to go out there and talk to them"
"What? Why? All they're gonna do is ask about Gore"
"That's the thing, you need to control the narrative, his people are all over media stations blasting you"

So, with a deep sigh and a quick seatbelt unbuckle. The Vice President asked the Secret Service to open her door to let her out and slowly walked over to the press with a quick smile and a curt, "Hey guys" before walking up to the assembled microphones and cameras as the questions slowly picked up from everyone, then died down to a singular reporter.

REPORTER #1:
Madam Vice President, do you think Vice President Gore only has his career in part to his father?

HARRIS:
I'm sure the Former Vice President is very proud of his family history, as am I. Obviously he had a very clear head start that I didn't in terms of coming from a political family. I was introduced to the world of politics through hard work and perseverance, he was introduced by birth but, ya know it's up to the voters to make that distinction.

REPORTER #2:
A lot of the Vice President's supporters-

HARRIS:
Former Vice President.

REPORTER #2:
Uh- the former Vice President's supporters and surrogates have jumped on your record as a prosecutor, connections to Steve Mnuchin-

HARRIS:
Well, clearly they are threatened by my position in this race. I am the frontrunner by all purposes and I know what this is. When you're on top people like to jump you to get ahead. My campaign has never gotten dirty or negative to a real bad extent. That was the Gore campaign who compared a candidate performance difference of 10 years. So I don't want to get too deep in the mud but someone needs to step up and say enough is enough, let's get back to the issues.

REPORTER #3:
Are you concerned this could hurt your future standing if you win the nomination?

HARRIS:
We will have a united Democratic party this fall. Alright thanks guys.

The Vice President briskly walked back into her car and drove off letting out a heavy sigh wondering how in the world the campaign got to this point so fast. What once was an all but assured nomination was turning into an ugly mud fight between the sitting Vice President and a Vice President from 30 years prior. She turned to one of her senior aides and said.

"This is some sh*t"

ATL for KDH

"We're projecting Vice President Kamala Harris is taking home the Georgia primary and some 40 or so delegates..."

The campaign watch party erupted in cheers, music, and flashing lights as Vice President Harris' face flashed on the two giant screens on each side of the stage erected for the Vice President's remarks. The crowd broke out in cheers of "Ka-ma-la, Ka-ma-la!" as they waved purple and yellow light sticks to the beat of each song that played. The energy in the room was electric and somewhat contagious, not at all like the nail biting anxiety filled nights from before. The supporters in Georgia were prepared to party whether VP Harris won or lost, and clearly a win gave them an extra push with some of the music played even rubbing off on reporters who were caught swaying and swinging their arms to the occasional hip-hop song.

Meanwhile only a few minutes away from the celebration, the Vice President was upstairs in her hotel room suite with her advisors and taking calls from her opponents thanking them for their congratulations and making light hearted jokes at the direction the race has taken in the more recent days. She has also gotten in contact with her Michigan team, telling them to begin to invest considerable resources into the Wayne County and neighboring county areas as well as areas such as Lansing to ensure a strong finish in the state. After a while the Vice President would thank her staff for a great operation in Georgia before departing to her victory party.

Upon arriving there, the Vice President was greeted by Senator Jon Ossoff who she asked to introduce her at the event. As the Senator was announced the crowd went up in cheers and applause with the spontaneous chant of "VP, VP, VP, VP" ringing out which made the current Vice President throw her head back and laugh. Senator Ossoff kept his remarks short and sweet thanking the Vice President's supporters for showing out in a strong show of force for her and introducing the Vice President by saying; "And now, I am proud to introduce a proud black woman, a proud Oakland native, proud Georgia Democratic primary winner! A former DA, California Attorney General, United States Senator, the current Vice President of the United States and the next President of the United States, Kamala Devi Harris!"

Quote
“Thank you! Thank you all so much! Wow! Wassup Georgia! It is good to be back in the ATL! (Laughs) Thank you all so very much for this warm welcome!”

“Let’s give a hand to your great United States Senator, Jon Ossoff! Thank you Senator so much for that wonderful introduction and I gotta say, with Senator Ossoff, Senator Warnock and I guess I can now say me! Georgia you sure know how to pick them! (Laughs) I am so, so, so grateful to all of you who are here tonight to celebrate this amazing victory in the great state of Georgia! And come November we are gonna win this state again!”

“To all of you, who voted, who encouraged your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to vote, this victory belongs to you! It does! You organized and advocated, worked day and night to get our campaign message out and thanks to you our lead in pledged delegates and the total popular vote remains strong! Obviously it’s not over but I wouldn’t want to start this campaign any other way! Thanks to all of you, that glass ceiling separating women from the Oval Office gets weaker and weaker every day!”

“Now, we have one more contest in this race before we go national, the great state of Michigan is coming up next! And I intend to compete and fight for every last vote in that state, and come November I believe we are gonna win Georgia and Michigan! The winning coalition that sent Joe Biden and I to the White House will send the first black woman President of the United States to the White House! And I can’t wait to get work done for the American people!”

“The important work, such as tackling the clear and present poverty crisis in this country and ensuring that Americans do not need to work two to three jobs just to pay their rent on time. Where they can send their childhood to school and not have to worry about a gunman opening fire on them, and America where a mother can take her child to the emergency room and not have to worry about her insurance not covering the costs and having to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket. This is the America I believe in, this is the America I will lead as President, and Georgia this is the America you voted for tonight!”

“So! Let’s get to work! Our country depends on you all. If you voted for the first today, even if your preferred candidate didn’t win, don’t stop organizing or fighting for what you believe in! Keep that energy cause we need it! Our country needs young people like you ready to take action and change the system by using your voice! I know that there are times when you believe that no-one is listening to your voice, well let me tell you, when I am President I am going to make sure people listen to the voices of the young people in this country!”

“So thank you all so much! For this amazing victory in Georgia and to all of you watching across the country who support our campaign, keep your energy, keep your faith, and don’t forget to vote! Thank you all so much! May God bless you and may God bless the United States of America!”

After the event the Vice President would celebrate with her advisors and supporters as she danced on stage and lip synced along to songs for a solid 15 minutes before giving a final wave and mouthing to the crowd "I'll be back!" before departing the stage and climbing into the motorcade which would take her straight to the airport tarmac to board Air Force Two and take her to Detroit, Michigan.

For the People: Freeway of Love. (Part 1)

With the Georgia win behind them and the wind on their backs, the Harris campaign was more optimistic than ever regarding their chances on winning the Democratic nomination. They believed that these wins showed Democratic voters that the Vice President could rise above strong opposition and win in what is perceived to be tough to win contests.

Although the Harris campaign is not expecting to win Michigan, they believe a strong enough finish will give the Vice President just enough strength going into Super Tuesday. The campaign has examined other presumed frontrunner candidates and have learned most have burned out after Super Tuesday not expecting a strong challenge. To counter this the campaign has buffed up it's ground game and operations in contests after Super Tuesday and has gotten in contact with donors and fundraisers asking them to keep up their support even after the large round of national contests.

Upon arriving in Detroit, Michigan, with all the optimism in the world and practically bouncing to her SUV,the Vice President jetted off to a nearby gymnasium as is the site for many of her rallies and unveiled the fresh message of her campaign in the run-up to the Michigan primary and Super Tuesday contest.

Quote
"Wassup Detroit!" (Laughs)

"Thank you all so much! It is good to be back in Motown! And let me just say thank you so much Leanna for that wonderful introduction, what a smart and beautiful young woman and I am so glad that I have her on my side in this campaign! And let me thank all of you for showing up and showing out, ya know we just came off of a win in Georgia! And I am so glad to be in Michigan where I am hopeful we can do pretty good here!"

"So, look, I've been traveling the country for about 10 months now and I and everywhere I go I get the same question, why are you running for President? And I have to admit sometimes it does catch me off guard, I usually expect that type of question from a reporter or a pundit trying to get me in a gotcha moment but- (Laughs) its true."

"And so, after I think for a while, I always come up with the same answer. I'm running for President because of the people. Those signs that you all are holding what do they say? Kamala, for the people.  And I know I say that a lot but it is so true, I'm running for the mother here in Detroit who is holding down 2 jobs just so her kids can go to school and have food on the table even if she herself doesn't eat. I'm running for the steel worker in Ohio who prays that his social security stays intact so he can retire with dignity."

"I'm running for the disabled veteran in my home state of California who's medical bills are racking up but she simply cannot afford to pay them because a job will not hire anybody in her condition. I'm running for the teenage boy in Illinois who lost his mother and father to gun violence and wakes up everyday determined to make them proud by standing up in the fight to end gun violence for all. I'm running for an America we all can believe in, and I hope you will join me on that journey."

The Vice President has also began putting boots on the ground in several Super Tuesday states while she's in Michigan. Sending out surrogates to represent her in their home states with a significant focus on the states of California, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, Minnesota, and Alabama. The Vice President believes these states will give her the momentum to put the nomination on lockdown and scare any opponents into considering dragging the race to the convention which the Vice President more recently told a reporter who questioned her on the possibility saying it would be "Dangerous for party unity if this gets dragged to the convention"

The Vice President has also cranked up her more moderate messaging when it comes to the upcoming slate of states, believing modeling her campaign after the Biden 2020 model of pragmatism and decency would treat her best. Of course the Vice President hasn't hesitated to sprinkle in some of her progressive bon-a-fides when questioned, such as her fight for criminal justice reform, universal healthcare and raising the minimum wage. The Vice President believes that in a field where every candidate is calling themselves a progressive and running to her left she can gain an advantage of middle leaning long time primary voters and benefit from a progressive vote split.

With the campaign about to hit overdrive and the Vice President not letting her foot off the gas, it is clear that the Harris campaign isn't taking any chances in the coming days.

For the People: Freeway of Love. (Part 2)

"Cut it out, Al"
With the primary quickly approaching in the Badger State and the Vice President hitting the ground and rallying the troops in another freshly made early primary state. She has begun painting herself as more down to earth and easy going to voters. Dancing with supporters and handing out coffee and doughnuts to those volunteering in the Michigan cold. Although the good feels has been shot short upon hearing the news Former Vice President Gore was promoting the idea that the Vice President would lose a general election no matter what.

The Vice President was miffed at the news and personally called Gore herself to tell him to "Cut it out, Al" she would tell the Vice President putting out this rhetoric now would only demotivate voters and depress turnout among Democratic voters if they believe a loss is inevitable. When asked about the rhetoric put out by the Gore campaign, Harris responded "I have won every race I've run in, Let's see if Al Gore can say the same"

Blah, Blah, Blah, the 90's
The Vice President has also begun painting Gore as an "out of touch white guy who is using the American people for a comeback to cover the tracks of his last failed campaign" as put by an aide anonymously to the New York Times. The campaign is seeking to put a clear contrast between Vice President Harris (a cleaner, younger, and relatively fresh to national politics) and Vice President Gore (old, white, dried out 90's politician). The Vice President herself has even gotten a few shots in.

Quote
"Ya know and all you hear from Al Gore is, 'In the 90's I led this, in the 90's we did this' I don't wanna hear about what you did in the 90's! Did you stand up to Trump administration officials like I did? Did you fight back and write legislation to protect DREAMERs and curb the influence dark money had on our politics? You can't claim credit for every good thing that happened 30 years ago, disappear for 24 years and then come back and say 'I can fix it!' No!"

"You can't lose a winnable election over 24 years ago and then come back and say 'Just one more chance! I really think I can win this time' No! Americans are tired of dried up career politicians, so when you vote, remind yourself. They say I might lose, but who has lost before?"

The intent was clear and the goal simple. If Al Gore wants to play dirty everyone can play dirty. The campaign was prepared for an all out slog for the nomination, the Gore campaign wasn't. Their candidate was rusty in terms of campaigning and doesn't reflect the new era of the Democratic party that President Biden wanted to "pave the way for"

If this Vice President can't have the White House, no Vice President will.

Super Duper Tuesday (And Beyond!)
With the Vice President decked out in Michigan doing her very best to secure a strong finish before the primary, the campaign began sending out its surrogates to multiple Super Tuesday states especially their own home states to rally the troops and support across the country. The Vice President let them have free reign on their attacks over Al Gore, with NAFTA being a common area of attack, as well as his climate change hypocrisy and his constant use of a private jet since he left the public sector.

The campaign has also begun preparing for the states after Super Tuesday knowing the race won't be wrapped up by the time the final contests close on that Tuesday evening. The campaign has decided that all out is better than slowly limping on month by month. The campaign has prepared by sending in funds, hiring more staff, and opening more field offices in further contests. Of course they have also held discussions with DNC Chairman Jamie Harrison about how a contested convention would work and how balloting, nominations and delegate binding rules will work especially regarding the much sought after by the Harris campaign superdelegates on the second ballot.

The Harris campaign is prepped for the long haul and is not afraid to drag this out to achieve their own nomination, even if they are behind in delegates entering the convention in Chicago.

A Woman First: First Woman
Although originally shying away from the idea at first the Vice President has decided to finally embrace the idea of incorporating the historic element of her becoming the first female President into her campaign. Although subtle traces of the message did exist the Vice President did not want to define the campaign around her gender believing that Hillary Clinton made that mistake in 2016 which cost her dearly in the general election. But now seeing how well that message played in the primaries the campaign has decided to bring it into the fold.

Obviously, the message is a bit more complicated with 2 other women in the race so the campaign has decided to tie it with her already history making accomplishments such as being the first female Attorney General of California and the first female Vice President. Championing the Vice President as a glass ceiling breaker and a warmaker for other women that will come after her.

The Vice President was determined to do everything she could to place well in the state of Michigan and set herself up for a decent night on Super Tuesday. All the campaign could do was wait and see and let time be the judge on if their efforts were in vain.

Back in Baltimore, Harris accepts Moore endorsement

Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the presidential campaign, the Vice President returned to Washington to attend to her duties as Vice President and be close to Baltimore when it was officially announced that Governor Wes Moore would endorse her campaign for President. The Vice President has formed a bond with the Governor of Maryland since being called upon to campaign for him in the 2022 midterm elections and their bond has grown with the proximity of Washington D.C to the Maryland area.

The Vice President would headline an event in Baltimore with a "special guest" which many correctly assumed would be Governor Moore due to his schedule being wiped clean for the day and it (obviously) being leaked to the media the day before by the Harris campaign to generate enthusiasm with the campaign gaining a rising star in the party in their ranks in clear contrast to the Gore's campaign old and aging demographic of endorsee's

Governor Moore began his remarks as such:
Quote
"Thank you, Baltimore! It's good to be in Baltimore! Not far from home! And it really feels to good to get behind a dear friend of mine, and the next President of the United States of America, Vice President Kamala Harris!"

"When I look at Vice President Harris, I see the American dream, a daughter of immigrants, a daughter to Oakland, California! And a woman of firsts. Kamala Harris has never had opportunities handed to her, she is a hard worker, a tried and true public servant and I believe with your help and through hard work we can and will elect her as our next President. A President who will protect reproductive freedom, a president who will fight tooth and nail for Universal Childcare, a President who believes in raising the minimum wage so workers across this country do not have to work 2 or 3 jobs just to put food on the tables for their families. That's the Kamala Harris I know and that's the kind of President she will be."

"But, we need your help. Kamala needs your help. I need you to encourage your friends, family and neighbors to get out and support Vice President Harris for President. Our nation needs a tried and true leader committed to America's future and I have the utmost faith in Vice President Kamala Harris!"

The Vice President's campaign is hopeful that with Governor Moore behind their campaign it will breath a new air of life with young voters and especially black men in the primary. Time will definitely tell if it is effective but the campaign believes it is worth trying.

Vice President Harris celebrates strong Michigan showing

As the polls closed and the news networks flashed on the screens in the suite rented out by the Harris campaign to watch the Michigan results the campaign was semi-confident in their ability to at least get a second place finish in the state of Michigan. Although even after the race was called for Governor Whitmer a new reality set in for the campaign. Not only would they get second place in the state of Michigan, they would keep Governor Whitmer underneath a 10% margin of victory, much more than they could've asked for or expected.

The campaign was ecstatic. They saw the Michigan results as a moral and political victory for them even though it was a tried and true victory for Governor Whitmer in all reality. The campaign rang up donors, volunteers and surrogates telling them this showed the Vice President's momentum and strength in swing states. Fighting off strong challenges in Georgia, Nevada, and now keeping the incumbent Governor within 6 points was a clear sign that if Democrats put their faith in Vice President Harris she can and will win the Presidency in November.

The Vice President herself was ecstatic over the results, and after a quick march downstairs to the hotel ballroom the Vice President addressed supporters gathered for the event in a very cheerful mood.
Quote
“Wassup Detroit!”  (Laughs)

“Oh my god! Thank you all so much! We had a great night here in Michigan! Thank you all so much, and this great showing tonight in this beautiful state is a testament to the power of organizing, and getting out there and rocking your vote, you showed the political class that our campaign is very much alive and kicking! And so as we celebrate our incredibly strong showing tonight, let’s prepare for tomorrow as we take this campaign across the country!”

“I want to congratulate Governor Whitmer on a strong showing tonight, it is clear that her home state loves her and I would be lying if I didn’t say I love her back. And so a huge congratulations to her and to her supporters and of course to the other candidates in this race and their supporters you all should be proud of the effort that you have put in to do the important work of yourself and encouraging others to participate in democracy and let’s give them a round of applause!”

“But to you all! You showed up! You showed out and you showed everyone that momentum is really on our side and it is growing by the day. Because of you I believe that this campaign is just getting started, delivering our message for the American people and what we plan to do. And I truly and honestly am thankful from the bottom of my heart for this incredibly strong showing, I wanna shout out our volunteers! My VP VIP’s who did the important work of ensuring that our new generation of voters knew where to vote, how to vote and when to vote! Thank you for doing all you can to increase civic participation, we owe you an immense debt of gratitude!”

“So! Let’s continue the work we started in South Carolina and brought here to Detroit. The work of fighting for quality affordable healthcare, getting deadly assault weapons off of our streets, raising wages for workers, fighting the climate crisis and show the world that yes, America can elect a woman as President of the United States!”

“Our work is not done! And so I need you to keep up the fight for the people! This campaign is for you! This is our campaign and to all of you out there watching, I hope you will join us to continue the battle that President Joe Biden began 4 years ago for the Soul of the Nation!”

“Thank you, Michigan! May God bless you and may God bless the United States of America!”

With Michigan out of the way, the campaign prepared the Vice President for the way back home to Los Angeles where she will officially kick-off the Super Tuesday portion of her campaign. The Vice President thanked her Michigan staff and urged them to keep up the energy and support up to November before leaving Michigan for the last time in the primary season.

"She has what it takes" Oprah Winfrey endorses Harris in Richmond Rally

In one of the biggest bursts of energy given to the Harris campaign since their strong Michigan primary showing, the Vice President's campaign received the endorsement of beloved American actress, journalist, and talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, in a rally very much reminiscent of the fiery and strong endorsement Winfrey gave Senator Barack Obama in 2008.

Known by Americans across the country, Winfrey's endorsement is a welcome addition to the Harris campaign that has been riding off of it's momentum by a string of wins in recent primary states and fighting off a strong challenge from Former Vice President Gore. The campaign has already begun airing side by side contrasts of the Winfrey 2008 endorsement and now the Winfrey 2024 endorsement to amp up supporters and show Democratic voters in the south who they should really be backing in their upcoming primaries.

The rally in Richmond, Virginia was packed, the largest crowd the Vice President had seen in months as well as the largest media presence she had seen since the launch of her campaign. The Vice President first rose the stage to introduce Winfrey seeing as it would be hard to follow the impassioned Winfrey who is known to deliver soul stirring speeches. The Vice President and Winfrey were announced jointly and the crowd went deafening upon seeing the face of Winfrey which made the Vice President wonder who they were really here to see.

Quote
"Thank you Richmond, wow! Oprah, I think I have to start bringing you with me everywhere I go if this is the reception that we get! But please, thank you all so much it is so good to be back in the great state of Virginia and if you can't tell already, I have a friend of mine here" (Laughs)

"I am gonna introduce her in a minute but let me just say how glad I am to be here with all of you as we kick-off this new phase of our campaign, and let me just say the energy here! I hope you all keep that energy when you head out to vote on March 5th! Because we need you! We need you to get out and vote and to support this campaign! And so I guess that is why I brought my dear friend here with me today. Because if anything she is gonna make sure you guys get out and vote!"

"A vote for better wages, better jobs, affordable healthcare and childcare, the ability to start your small business or seek that new career path without worrying that everything will fall apart if you do. A vote where parents can send their babies to schools without worrying a bad man with a gun is going to storm in and snatch away their future like that. Our campaign is truly standing up and fighting for you, the people. And I hope that when you cast your vote, you vote to make that dream a reality!"

"So without further ado, my dear friend, and the next Vice Pre- (Laughs) I'm kidding! Come on everybody, Oprah Winfrey!"

The crowd went up in louder cheers and applause as Winfrey stood behind the podium opening her speech from her binder not screened at all by the campaign and stood before the crowd.

Quote
"Thank you so much, Madam Vice President, soon to be Madam President I am hoping. Come on, you all can give her a hand. And being here in Richmond is really bringing back some strong deja vu. I remember about 16 years ago, I endorsed a young, bright and up and coming Senator from Illinois for President, a candidate I believed in, a candidate who's vision motivated me, and my friends when I saw Kamala giving her remarks I felt that same stirring in my soul I felt watching then Senator Obama speak"

"I first met Kamala when she was District Attorney in San Francisco, and I was so impressed with her work I invited her to Chicago to be on my show, you can all look it up on YouTube and see how much younger we look, But anyway, I have seen firsthand her unwavering commitment to justice, equality, and the betterment of our nation. She has dedicated her career to fighting for the rights of marginalized communities and seeking justice for those who have been wronged."

"Kamala Harris is a leader who possesses the vision, the experience, and the courage necessary to navigate the complex challenges of our times. Whether it's addressing systemic racism, ensuring access to quality healthcare, or strengthening the economy for all Americans, Kamala has a proven track record of delivering results."

"And let's not forget, she is a trailblazer who has shattered glass ceilings throughout her career, becoming the first woman, the first Black woman, and the first South Asian woman to hold the office of Vice President. She knows what it takes to break down barriers and make progress in the face of adversity."

"So! When the time comes Virginia and everybody watching across the country, I want you to vote! And not just vote for anybody, you get into that ballot booth and you look at that names and I want you to fill in that bubble next to Kamala Harris! Let's get it done! We can do this!"

When it was all said and done, Winfrey offered to travel the country for Harris in the coming days down South in the lead up to the March 5th primaries which Harris gladly accepted. The campaign was energized and prepared to continue their fight in the leadup to the biggest batch of primaries with the wind on their back.

For the People: It's Gonna Be Super!

“Well California! Let’s get to work!”

The Vice President was rallying her supporters in California hoping a strong performance in the state will build on the momentum already created by strong showings in the South and a much better than anticipated performance in Michigan. The campaign was in overdrive, sending out volunteers to encourage their supporters to vote, beefing up the Vice President’s schedule and leaving the Vice President's staff in the West Wing scrambling to schedule official White House events and traveling opportunities to promote the administration's agenda. The Vice President is cautiously optimistic about Super Tuesday and not taking anything for granted as she begins to travel the country in the most high stakes way since the launch of her campaign.

The campaign has also begun working towards making the Vice President appear more presidential. Making it an effort to show the Vice President boarding and leaving Marine Two and Air Force Two as much as possible on her social media accounts, putting photos of her and President Biden on her campaign site and touting her record of fighting for reproductive freedom, voting rights, and the influence she has in being the last person in the room when tough decisions are made. The campaign wants voters to see Al Gore as dated and Vice President Harris as a ready and capable leader prepared to take on the mantle from the most progressive President in American history.

All Roads Lead South
The campaign has decided to launch a full scale effort in the South to combat any momentum Al Gore may be gaining in that territory. With a strong focus on Texas, Virginia, North Carolina and Oklahoma down south. The campaign knows that whoever wins the South wins the nomination and they are prepared to put up a spirited fight for that key base of support. The Vice President has privately sought counsel from key Biden aides on the best strategy moving forward and the consensus was clear. Show the American people and the Democratic party who the incumbent Vice President and partner to Joe Biden is now.

The Vice President is spending most of her time in Texas and Virginia, hoping to show a strong showing in especially the Lone Star State.  A state that Joe Biden narrowly won in a fight against Bernie Sanders 4 years prior. The Vice President will be spending the most time in the state of Texas with the second most time spent down South in North Carolina. A state that Joe Biden won 4 years prior and that Vice President Harris believes may be favorable to her seeing as it’s next door neighbors with the state of South Carolina which she won.

All in all, the campaign believes that a strong showing in the South will give her a delegate and popular vote advantage large enough to scare away bottom tier candidates in the race and convince the Democratic establishment to stop playing games and to finally fall in line.

I Believe That She Will Win
With the Vice President being accused of being unelectable by ahem- other campaigns. The Vice President has inserted a certain antecode into her campaign stump speech in order to show any voters uneasy about her electability and depending on polls to make their decision.

Quote
"Ya know, this is not the first time political pundits and opponents have doubted me and honestly I guess this shows my resilience and dedication for fighting for the American people, because in every race that I have been in, I have been underestimated, counted out, shunned and disregarded."

"But here's the thing, in every race I have ever run in. I have won! I have won in red wave elections, I have won when other Democrats supporting me lost. We need a candidate who has a history of winning, not losing, and looking at this field I truly believe I am that candidate."

"We need a candidate prepared to fight back and get things done, a candidate with a proven track record of standing up, speaking truth to power and leading from her mind even when the odds are stacked against her, and I will be that candidate and that President on Day One!"

With that out of the way, the Vice President is hopeful that when it comes to the electability question the American people can gradually move away from the “She can’t win” to “She’s been underestimated before and she has won every time. With this new line of thinking the campaign is confident that they can bring on any potential undecided voters wary of the Vice President’s potential electability into her column.

Broken Clocks
The campaign is also struggling to define it’s strategy for the coming weeks however. Although they have built up their ground game to prepare for a long nomination fight, after Super Tuesday not much planning has gone into the Vice President’s schedule or possible campaign operations. So the Vice President has decided to begin to place an emphasis on heavy hitting large delegate states. Such as New York, Florida, Illinois and Ohio.

Although the Vice President’s political instincts have been known to not always be best tuned. The common analysis among the campaign team is that a good focus on these states after what they are hoping will be a strong Super Tuesday performance will any possible momentum the Vice President may have going into the convention which will largely benefit her if the convention is in fact brokered.

VP On The Road: Schedule of Kamala Harris

February 28th

The Vice President would spend the day after the Michigan primary back home in California, meeting with her campaign volunteers and embarking with them to shake hands and meet potential voters, with the Vice President knowing from experience that the best way to personally connect with voters in races especially as spirited as this one is to connect with them and this is what their goal was, to personally draw voters to the Vice President’s campaign

The Vice President would also hold a large rally at the University of California, Berkeley where she would address students and undecided voters in the audience

Quote
"Now, I know you all are tired already of this election, you're tired of politicians telling you 'Oh this is the most important election' I know, because I can honestly say I am tired too. But when we get tired we shouldn't throw our hands up and give in. We roll up our sleeves and fight!

"And I can honestly say this truly is one of the most important elections in our lifetimes. And I'm just not talking about rhetoric or how candidate's talk, and yes that is an issue as well. But this is about something as baffling and confusing as books. And the sad reality is, if you want your children to be able to read a history book and learn knowledge from that book, the Republican Party is not who you want to vote for."

"If you want to be able to make your own decisions about your body and what you can and can not do with what is in it or even as we have seen in some states, what you wear and how you wear it. The Republican Party is not who you want to vote for! Joe Biden said it best, this is not your father's Republican party, and if we are being honest this is not even the Republican party of 20 years ago, well some of you are 20 so-" (Laughs)

February 29th
The Vice President would fly out to the state of Virginia to accept the endorsement of American talk show host, Oprah Winfrey. After the rally the Vice President would conduct a radio interview where she would discuss the campaign and her hopeful predictions for the future of the campaign.

Quote
“So this campaign has really just been great and I am so glad that our party, the Democratic party, has such a diverse and amazing group of voters and supporters because that really is the future of our country, whether you're Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, you will have a place in this Democratic party and the future of this country, and so I am also glad that our campaign is compromised of such a diverse group of Americans."

"And so when it's all said and done, I do believe we will come out on top at the convention and this November and I can't wait to get to work for the American people."

After the interview the Vice President would visit a local Richmond campaign field office and greet volunteers and staffers there and thank them for their work before traveling to a local strip mall and chatting with potential voters and even attempting to be friendly to those who made it very clear they were not voting for Harris. Telling one “Gore 2020” supporter “We need you to get you a new t-shirt man! You’re breaking my heart”

The Vice President’s Virginia swing was meant to shore up any undecided voters and leave the swaying and switching of votes to her to the campaign team and staff best equipped to promote the Vice President’s campaign. After the event the Vice President would board her plane and continue her Southern trek.

March 1st
Hitting the ground running in Austin, Texas. The Vice President is keeping her appearances once again personal and intimate with voters. Shaking hands, flashing a toothy grin and holding babies with “KAMALA” onesies.  The Vice President is feeling the enthusiasm from the group and even if she doesn’t win Texas, is confident that the delegate margin's will be close enough to warrant a tie.

After leaving Austin, the Vice President took a short flight to Dallas where she met with local Democratic politicians supporting her campaign and held a town hall with senior citizens pledging to do everything she can as President to protect Social Security from Republican spending cuts and do everything she can to protect Medicare and Medicaid benefits for seniors.

March 2nd
Swinging through the Raleigh, North Carolina region, the Vice President visited a homeless shelter and helped pass out food, clothes (especially socks and underwear), toiletries and anything else requested by the shelter. The Vice President would later tell a reporter who questioned her on the significance of being there; “These people are Americans too, and I am not here as a candidate but I am here as the Vice President of the United States looking out for the people I work for”

After the homeless shelter visit, the Vice President would give a brief speech at a local high school gymnasium where she discussed the importance of the potential election of the first female and first female President of the United States of America.

Quote
"So, I see a lot of little girls here with their fathers and mothers, and so I just wanna invite all the little ladies up here on the stage with me, come on don't be scared. Okay yeah, can we give them all a hand as they come up?"

"This is the future of our nation and we must do everything we can to fight for this future. Whether it be equal pay, codifying of the right for women to make decisions about their bodies, or even creating opportunities, I want to be a President of equality and equity and think about how far we will get by electing the first woman as President of the United States! I'm exited for that!"

March 3rd
The Vice President would head back home to California to rally her supporters in San Francisco, the birthplace of her political career and what turned into a “This is your Life” segment created by the campaign. With old staffers surprising Harris on stage, friends thanking Harris for the impact she had on their lives and all of the such, it was a very emotional homecoming for the Vice President.

After the event the Vice President would fly to Massachusetts to try and consolidate a solid base of support in Elizabeth Warren’s home state and a state that Joe Biden won in 2020. The campaign believes that by making inroads into these progressive strongholds opportunity is present for a strong showing.

March 4th
With the final day of campaigning upon them, the campaign sent Vice President Harris swinging across the country. With quick rallies and appearances in Texas, Virginia and North Carolina. And then sending her to Colorado, Iowa, Massachusetts, and Maine. The campaign is absolutely determined not to leave a single stone unturned in their quest for the White House.

The Vice President also spent the day calling teams on the ground trying to determine what was their plan in the coming days for getting voters out, ordering shuttle buses to get senior citizens to the polls and coordinating planning for Harris’ speech the following night. As the night closed in on the final day before what could be a great boost or a great downer of the campaign, the Vice President held one final rally in Arlington, Virginia

Quote
"No matter what happens tomorrow, I can tell you all with the greatest confidence that this campaign is going on! We are going to continue our fight for the American people, and I gotta say I am really confident about tomorrow, I really am. But I can't do this alone, I need all of you to stand with me and use your voice to vote!"

"So when polls open tomorrow in Virginia, please head out and vote. Encourage your friends to vote, encourage your family, co-workers. Everyone you know tell them to vote, especially for me! And I am so grateful to all of you. Let's get this done! Thank you all so much!"

March 5th
When Super Tuesday arrived the Vice President made a quick stop at the White House to attend a briefing with President Biden on the increasingly tense situation between Taiwan and China and to offer advice and counsel to the President on what to do with the situation. Afterwards the Vice President would work in her office until the afternoon where she would board Air Force Two back home to Los Angeles.

The Vice President would call several of her volunteers once she made it home, asking for reports on the situation on the ground, voter turnout numbers and if their supporters are turning out how they were expected to. Once all was done the Vice President read over her speech for the night, reviewed her wardrobe and begin cooking dinner for her friends and family while CNN's pre-election night coverage played in the background.

Harris Campaign Celebrates Super Tuesday Victories

The Vice President sat stoically in her Los Angeles home living room watching the results roll in each poll closing time, letting out excited claps at unexpected wins and exasperated sighs at wanted states that turned into losses. All in all the general mood of the night was upbeat and optimistic as it became clear the Vice President would walk away from the night with the most pledged delegates and the most votes across the country.

The Vice President watched Senator Gillibrand's graceful concession speech and called her to congratulate on a race well run. Afterwards the Vice President would eat dinner with her family as results continued to roll in before getting ready for her speech in front of supporters at her LA watch party. While preparing and rewriting her speech the Vice President was informed of voter operations across the country in the coming contests as well as the crowd size at her rally which gave Harris another boost of excitement and relief regarding the night.

Bringing along her family and campaign staff the Vice President left her home and her motorcade took her to the campaign watch party. Arriving at the venue the Vice President danced and recorded videos with her younger campaign staff before laughing and preparing to get on stage. Once announced the Vice President was introduced to Tupac's California Love which she danced along to before walking to the podium.

Quote
“Thank you! Wassup LA!”

“It’s good to be home, and it’s good to be home to celebrate a very Super Tuesday!”

“First off, I want to congratulate Former Vice President Gore, Senator Merkely, and Governor Whitmer on their victories across the country tonight. And of course I would like to applaud Senator Gillibrand on a race well run and I look forward to what she has planned next in her career. Tonight, Democrats across this country voted and they have made their voices clear. We have won the most votes, and the most pledged delegates of any candidate in this race tonight! We have inspired millions of young women and especially women of color, and I believe that we have a very clear road ahead to the White House!”

“Now, obviously we aren’t quite across the finish line yet. Many more states have to vote and make their voices heard but I will say this, our campaign was built for the long run and we believe that when it is all said and done we will take the momentum started in South Carolina over a month ago, all the way to the White House!”

“This is a campaign that was birthed and molded for the American people, people of all backgrounds and creeds, whether you be Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, gay, straight, upper class, middle class, or lower class.  This is your campaign and I promise you that when I am President I am going to work everyday for you! Cause that is the job of a President, to work for everyone no matter if they voted for them or not, those are the values that sent Joe Biden and I to the White House, the values of decency, respect, and empathy, and those are the same values that I will cherish and value as President”

“So! Our work and our journey continues, the work to expand healthcare access to every single American once and for all, the work to end the gun violence epidemic in this country by banning assault weapons! The work to end interference in our American elections and to build on what we have done under the Biden-Harris administration and continue to hold our foreign and domestic adversaries accountable! The work to codify the right for a woman to make decisions about her own body, the work to pass Universal Pre-K and to make sure no student in America ever leaves college with Student debt”

“And yes, under a Harris administration we will build on the work of the Biden-Harris administration and do everything we can to fight and curb the climate crisis once and for all”

“The Democratic party is the party of progress, unity, and hope. We have solutions for this country, not just words. And when you compare the message of our party compared to the rhetoric on the other side, the contrast couldn’t be more clear. This November we must elect a Democratic president and I am hopeful that after our strong showing across the country tonight that our party will grant me the honor of carrying our party’s banner.”

“So, to the states of North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, and the great state of California! I thank you all for your confidence in me and as long as this race continues I will always fight for the values we hold dear. So thank you, may God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America!”

After concluding the speech the song would play once again as Harris was joined by family and friends on stage as campaign staffers set off confetti cannons raining confetti on the crowd and on the stage to conclude the night. With this large batch of contests behind them, the Harris campaign prepared to continue their long slog to the Democratic nomination.

For the People: Debate Night in Chicago

Arriving in Chicago after a quick swing through Kansas City, Missouri, the Vice President was relentlessly prepped by her staff on a series of questions aiming to show her preparedness on the issues and her clear sign of experience. As the campaign has picked up steam the results of any debate at this rate is likely to cause significant headwinds in voters minds and so the Vice President and her campaign have done everything in their power to make a strong show of strength and experience.

So, as the Vice President sat in the green room going over the notes and talking points with her debate prep team she chose to steal a strategy from the words of Michelle Obama. When they go low, you go high. The Vice President has decided to not stoop down to any negative attacks but instead focus on her and her connection to the American people. So, once her name was introduced the Vice President emerged with a broad smile and feeling confident in where the night was heading.

Opening Statement
Quote
First off, thank you David, Whit, and the City Club of Chicago for hosting this debate and it’s good to be here for another debate with my fellow candidates where we are here to talk about the issues facing the American people. Solutions like reasonable gun reform, expanding access to healthcare, and tackling the climate crisis. And these aren’t just words, these are the values that the Democratic party stands on and believes in and I know every candidate on this stage believes in those values.

But, there are those on the other side of the aisle that don't agree with these values. They would rather protect the NRA than protect kindergartners, cut access to Medicaid rather than expanding it and deny climate change leaving our children and grandchildren in a worse state than what we received. What we need in a President is someone who knows their playbook and knows how to fight back and prosecute the case against them. I've served as D.A., Attorney General, A United States Senator representing the great people of California and now as your Vice President. I have the experience and the background to best tackle and govern as President of the United States and I hope I can earn your support and confidence as our party’s nominee.

Due to provocations against Taiwan by the People's Republic of China, President Biden has deployed a Carrier Strike Group to American base Yokosuka and American patrols routinely approach Taiwan as a defensive measure. President Biden has also said there would be "extreme consequences" for any attack on Taiwan. Do you support President Biden's actions in this area and would you support a military response in the event of an attack?
Quote
Well I think I have the unique distinction on this stage of being the person in the situation room with President Biden and our top military and diplomatic officials when it comes to discussing the situation with Taiwan and the dangerous provocations that the Chinese Communist Party has shown to them. Now, the United States will always stand with and for our allies under a Harris administration as we have in the Biden-Harris administration and we will continue to provide the Taiwanese people with anything they need for as long as they need.

So I do stand with President Biden’s actions and as President of the United States I will constantly stand with our allies in the face of dangerous and irresponsible advances by the Chinese government and the United States will never back down from supporting our allies in the face of aggression.

Do you support President Biden's partial student loan debt cancellation? Would you push for more broad action in this area as President? How would you deal with the challenge of a Supreme Court hostile to debt cancellation?
Quote
Absolutely, absolutely I support President Biden’s decision to finally lift the heavy burden of student debt from our nation’s most vulnerable citizens. Now as President I am prepared to go further, I want to make sure no student in America ever has to leave college burdened by debt simply for wanting a quality education that will set them up for successes in their future and in their career, that is the America I believe in, where opportunity doesn’t get unfairly packaged in with debt you spend nearly 30 years paying off, and I hope everyone on this stage agrees with me!

Now, as President of the United States I intend to nominate justices to the Supreme Court who believe in reproductive freedom, in easing the financial burden on young people, and fighting to ensure an equitable country for everyone no matter their income bracket or background. That is what I am going to do as President to continue to fight for the most vulnerable in our society and ease any strain on their hard earned money.

Homelessness has been rising in America, and this is no less true in big cities such as Chicago. What would you do to bring homelessness, and rising housing costs in general, under control?
Quote
I’m glad you asked that question because when I was in the United States Senate I was proud to introduce legislation with Congresswoman Maxine Waters to invest over $100 billion dollars into public housing investments to make sure that the people who need them most, the homeless, the elderly, the disabled, and those in the low income bracket and as President I will do everything in my power to get that legislation passed and invest in quality and affordable public housing.

But let’s get down to the root cause of why so many Americans find themselves in situations where they have nowhere to go or nobody to turn to. Let’s look at our opioid epidemic across this country that has destroyed families and put millions of Americans at risk, let’s also take a look at the abysmal situation when it comes to raises in this country, and under a Harris administration we will raise the minimum wage, give middle class Americans a tax cut, not the rich! And let me be clear, $15 an hour is the floor! We will raise wages for the American people to lift them up out of the burden of poverty.

America continues to be vexed by the challenge of failing public schools, the effects of COVID-19 shutdown have made these issues even worse, with massive gaps appearing among the youth and catastrophic shortfalls in reading, math, and other areas. As President, what solutions would you push for in the area of public education?
Quote
The first thing is we need to give teachers across the nation a well deserved pay raise! There are a lot of experienced and capable and willing people with a passion to teach and help lift up the future generation but it is very hard to make it by and still have a little bit of money for yourself on $38,000 a year! So that is step number one and I can say right now that as President I will do everything in my power to raise the pay of our hardworking teachers.

And we also need to invest in our public schools by giving them the necessary funding to invest in our students! Too many public schools in America are using outdated textbooks, or doesn’t have access to to computers they need to complete standardized assignments in order to track student’s progress, we must invest federal resources in order to look out for America’s future and that is what we will do under a Harris administration

Raise your hand if you support continued monetary and weapons aide to Ukraine, as the war now enters its third year.
Quote
I raised my hand because look, the United States will always stand with our allies in Ukraine and across the globe as I reiterated earlier and as Vice President of the United States I can say we will continue to support the Ukrainian people in their fight for their continued freedom.

To Vice President Harris: You have been assailed by other candidates on a myriad of issues. The latest of these is what they say is a failure to take on OneWest Bank over foreclosure violations in your time as California AG, can you take this time to clear the air on this?
Quote
Well, obviously it is clear that there is a lot of confusion on this stage on what a state Attorney General can do, and so I want to clear up that confusion so the American people can finally see the truth and put this matter to rest.

There was a United States Supreme Court ruling which basically said state subpoenas to national banks regarding their core functions were prohibited and I believed that my time would be better served recommending a case to the United States Attorney General for more immediate results than dragging our a long court case all the way to the Supreme Court and still likely facing the possibility of losing due to already set law, that would not benefit the people of California in any way possible.

So, did I want to take on the predatory practices of OneWest Bank? Yes I did, but under federal law could I? I could not, and if you want to read the brief from my office at the time all you have to do is search the public record it’s right there. I was a state Attorney General, I could not prosecute or even subpoena a federal bank.

Those are the facts, period and I hope this doesn’t become a political issue anymore.

After the debate the Vice President would politely chat with her fellow candidates before descending the stage to socialize with supporters in the crowd and take pictures. Afterwards the Vice President would head to a debate watch party in downtown Chicago and crack jokes at her performance with supporters before leaving to continue her campaign spree which will now swing through the state of Washington.

For the People: The Battle Continues

Post Super Tuesday Debrief
With the campaign feeling the momentum of a stronger than expected Super Tuesday performance and with another female candidate out of the race, the Harris campaign believed they had a reason and a right to be excited. Despite only being ahead by 70 delegates the campaign believed that with the proportional system that delegates were assigned the right amount of wins in certain states would grow the Vice President’s lead and make it insurmountable.

So, the campaign began turning their head to Not-So Super Tuesday II. Seeing the next lineup of states the campaign decided to zero in on three for wins; Mississippi, Washington and Missouri. The campaign believes that with Eric Adams out of the race the pathway is open for a clear win in Mississippi and in Missouri with a progressive split the campaign can replicate Hillary Clinton’s narrow win in the Missouri primary and win there although probably not substantially. Washington is the real coin toss, although it has a history of voting for more progressive candidates the campaign believes that with it being a coastal neighbor of California and amping up the Vice President’s appearances in the state, they believe a win is possible.

Dig A Little Deeper
With a crucial set of contests coming up and the Vice President within 70 delegates from losing her precious lead, the Harris is doing everything in their power to consolidate support from the recently departed campaigns, bringing in staffers from both the Gillibrand and Adam’s campaigns who didn’t defect to Jeff Merkley and sending them across the country to organize with their field organizers in the three states that the campaign wishes to win.

The campaign is dispatching the Vice President to the more competitive states such as Missouri and Washington believing that her presence will show voters that she is serious about earning their votes in this tough and hard fought primary process. There the Vice President will emphasize her strong work ethic in the Biden administration and demonstrate to voters how her recent experience and background have prepared her for the Presidency.

Moving On, Pressing Forward
While the campaign is looking forward to these upcoming contests, they are also simultaneously moving onto the next which will have a rack of big delegate wins. States such as Illinois, Ohio, and Florida. The campaign is optimistic for wins in the Midwest, the campaign will have surrogates play up Vice President Gore’s support of NAFTA to turn off potential Midwest voters while the Vice President stays positive.

This is all apart of a larger strategy for the Vice President, to keep growing and growing the number of delegates she has going into the national convention. The campaign believes that if the momentum continues the establishment will continue to rally behind Vice President Harris and to continue to shut down any other candidate that is not her.

Young-Ish
With the race becoming a two-way race between her and Former Vice President Gore, the Harris campaign is aiming to show a clear contrast between both her and Gore in terms of age and fresh ideas. While Gore turns 76 in the end of March, Vice President Harris is still only 59 and would also be younger than Jeff Merkley who is now occupying the main progressive wing of the party and could pose challenges in the future.

So, the campaign has not hesitated to be slightly petty with their interpretations of the candidates age, When airing side by side ads or graphics on social media the campaign has chosen pictures of VP Gore frowning, in dark light, or looking angry. When using a photo of VP Harris they have often shown photos of her smiling, with a diverse crowd, and with a dewy light on her face. This is all a part of the campaign’s goal of making Vice President Harris appear closer to the new generation of Gen-Z voters.

With the campaign still working overtime to push Harris closer and closer to the nomination, the Vice President is filling her schedule with meeting voters and reaching out to anyone who may be undecided in the race. As the primary campaign progresses the Harris campaign believes that while the road may be rocky, the path is still clear to the White House.

VP On The Road: Schedule of Kamala Harris

March 6th
After Super Tuesday the Vice President would immediately fly out to St. Louis, Missouri where the largest share of Democratic voters in the state reside. There the Vice President held several intimate events with voters, shaking hands, meeting campaign volunteers and appearing in TikTok videos with teenagers.

The Vice President would then give a speech to a gathering of the AARP about protecting social security and Medicare benefits.

Quote
"Well, it's so good to be in the great state of Missouri, and I got to say I am very confident that we will win here on March 12th! But as I look around this room I see such experience, and you know what they say, for each wrinkle is a show of wisdom and I am so honored to be in front of all of you

So, I don't really like to admit my age but ya know I am not a few years off from being eligible to receive benefits from Medicare and Social Security, and can you imagine paying for something all of your life and then a radical few wanting to strip it away from you? Excuse my language but that would really piss me off!

And so let me tell you right now and you can hold me accountable, under a Harris administration we will never ever let anyone try and take away your hard earned benefits! And that's a promise

March 7th:
The Vice President would continue her Missouri tour, traveling to Kansas City cracking a joke with reporters about whether Kansas has a city named Missouri City. The Vice President would once again continue her intimate style of campaigning. Knocking on doors with volunteers, meeting with local Democratic leaders and discussing strategy for the upcoming primary.

The Vice President would also hold a series of town halls in a series of high schools with young voters seeking to draw a connection between this new group of voters which will be essential to a democratic victory in November. Afterwards the Vice President would board Air Force Two en route to Chicago.

March 8th:
Having arrived in Chicago before dawn the Vice President would arrive at her hotel and get a few hours of sleep before departing early to the debate venue to get a view of the stage, knowing where to stand, and to  get the podium corrected to adjust to her height. Afterwards she would travel to one of her Chicago field offices and chat with volunteers and discuss a ground plan strategy for the coming days.

Afterwards the Vice President would hold a quick town hall in the suburbs of Chicago detailing her wish for the United States to adopt more common sense gun laws. The Vice President experienced an overflow crowd and spoke passionately about how tragedy can birth opportunity.

Quote
You know, when we see gun violence in the most catastrophic ways we often only then decide to take action when it comes to gun violence, but it shouldn't take more death for us to finally take action, we all remember Sandy Hook, we all remember Parkland. I am so tired of the American people having to continuously be traumatized for us to take action!

So, under a Harris administration I give Congress 100 days to introduce legislation on gun violence or I will travel the country and use the full power of the bully pulpit to make them take action! And we are going to get it done!

After the event the Vice President was motorcaded back to the city to participate in the Democratic Debate before leaving for Seattle.

March 9th:
Once again arriving early in the morning the Vice President would retire to a hotel for the night and get a few hours of sleep. Early in the morning the Vice President would head to a local Seattle diner and chat with potential voters making her most fervent pitches to the elderly and new voters which Harris believes will carry her over the finish line in the Evergreen State.

Once again the Vice President would continue her town halls across the country emphasizing her experience and credentials to voters and saying she has the unique background necessary to understand the issues facing the American people, as well as dropping a laugh line in the mix going; “And the good thing with me is you won’t be able to find a gray hair”

March 10th:
The Vice President would head back to St. Louis to continue her Super Tuesday II swing. The Vice President would continue to bet that her intimate style of meeting voters is making a breakthrough. Seeking to expand her delegate lead, the Vice President is hitting college campuses and talking to students there, creating a frenzy with students and a Secret Service headache.

The Vice President would then hold a roundtable with formerly incarcerated individuals about the need for Criminal Justice Reform. The Vice President would reiterate her pledge to pass legislation decriminalizing marijuana nationwide and highlight to the group the work already done by the Biden-Harris administration on fighting for non-violent drug offenders.

March 11th:
Finally sunsetting the Super Tuesday swing the Vice President decided to visit all of her top 3 states in one day. After a rally in Kansas City the Vice President would fly back up to Seattle, Washington where she would once again continue her outreach efforts to young Gen-Z voters.

Then the Vice President would cap it off with a rally in Jackson, Mississippi where she would hold one final rally for her supporters and meet with campaign volunteers in the state where she expressed confidence and basically preemptively celebrated an expected win in Mississippi.

March 12th:
The Vice President would fly to Miami, Florida where she is going to kick-start the next phase of her campaigning for the next contests as well as host her Election Night victory party. The campaign is confident that an early outreach in Florida, although won’t win them the state in the General will help show the hispanic community that the Vice President is dedicated to reaching out to them.

All the Vice President could do was sit in her hotel room and wait on the results.

Harris Campaign Celebrates New Batch of Victories

Squeezed together in a Miami hotel room, miles away from where the latest set of contests were happening, the Harris campaign monitored the results over television and online happily delivering good news to the Vice President and keeping bad news secret until it could be covered up with good news.

The expected good news from Mississippi came at poll closing as Harris' face flashed across the televisions screens in the suite. The campaign would quickly send out a "Thank you, Mississippi!" graphic out to their social media accounts, although they would have one prepared for each state and territory they knew only a few would be used in a contested primary. From that point forward all the campaign could do was wait for any further results.

As the night dragged on the Harris campaign's mood quickly turned from hopeful optimism to sour disappointment. Placing behind Merkley and Gore in several states and Missouri still teetering between Gore and Harris disappointed the campaign greatly who went to great lengths to spin the results to the Vice President who sat stoically watching the results in her bedroom. The campaign was deflating and realizing they would walk away from the night with a decreased lead in both delegates and the popular vote.

Finally, a glimmer of light shone through the dark night as Missouri was called for Vice President Harris eliciting the loudest amount of cheers and claps of the night and with staffers chanting "President Harris!" as the Vice President emerged from her connecting bedroom to see what the commotion was about. With confirmation set and the hour nearing midnight in Miami, the Vice President quickly assembled her staff and team to her campaign watch party and upon arrival waved to the clearly sleepy but enthusiastic crowd.

Quote
“Hello! Wassup Miami! Well, we had a good night!”

“First let me just say how good it is to be in the Sunshine State, a state I am confident we will win in the next set of contests in this primary! And I am so happy to see all of these beautiful faces, thank you all so much for coming out!”

“And I would like to shout out the great states of Mississippi and Missouri! I am so honored to have your faith and trust in this primary, now listen I understand we still have a long way to go and we are nowhere near running off with this nomination, but I gotta say, Missouri and Mississippi you surely have helped us along the way!”

“Of course, I want to congratulate Senator Merkley and Former Vice President Gore on their victories tonight, and applaud Governor Whitmer for her showing in these contests, this primary process truly shows the beauty of America, where American’s of different ideas, backgrounds, sexualities and economic status can have the opportunity to decide who they want to carry our party’s banner in November, and well I am glad to say, so far they have chosen us!”

“They have chosen an America where no parent has to send their baby to school and worry about an active shooter stealing away their future! An America where healthcare is finally a right and not a privilege! An America where we say loud and clear that Black Lives Matter! An America where we ensure no student has to leave college in debt, and an America where we finally raise wages for the working class!”

“If you believe in all of this! If you believe in these ideals, join our campaign! We want everybody who believes in that vision to join us! Black or white, gay or straight, liberal or conservative, this is your campaign! And as we embark on this next set of contests, I am confident that we will prevail and it is full steam ahead to the White House!”

“So, let’s get down to work! Because we all know that at the end of the day the fight we are fighting in this campaign is much bigger than any delegate threshold or nomination. This is about the future of the American people! And if you look at my career, I have always done my best to defend the little guy, whether that be as District Attorney, Attorney General, United States Senator, or as Vice President, my work has always been and always will be, for the people!

“So Florida, you’re up next! I hope you will believe in the vision of this country that I believe in and I am confident with your support we will not only win the nomination but the Presidency. So, encourage your friends to vote, your neighbors, co-workers, mom and dad, auntie and uncle, victory is a team effort and I want you on my team to continue to build on the progress of the Biden-Harris administration!

“Thank you! May God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America”

The Vice President quickly descended the stage and strutted to the barricaded line to shake hands and take pictures with her now energetic group of supporters, although the energy shown by the group was not enough to ease the Vice President's own exhaustion which was noticeable to anyone near her. So not too long after she started the Vice President quickly left the venue to take the drive to the airport to board Air Force Two back to Washington D.C.
