Which of these do you consider to meet the criteria of "genius"?
Pretty much everyone you listed is a genius in one way. Even Dave and Dan. They may be total morons when it comes to writing original material, but they're geniuses when it comes to adapting source material. GoT seasons 1-4 were peak television, and their adaptation of The Three Body Problem trilogy has been really good so far (one of the best sci fi shows in a while).
