Anyone from the Left who uses the term "snowflake" should be forcefully reminded what the Fatahs, Ortegas, Bolivarian Republics etc. that western activists happily back purely because they are are anti-USA, actually do to their own people.

And anyone on the “Left” trying to defend Hanson in any way arouses immediate suspicion.

(And no, I don’t want to see your ALP membership card from 2004 again)

I don’t think anyone would seriously claim Pakistan is a progressive country but surely it’s not difficult to see how someone with Pakistani heritage might not want to mourn the British monarchy. Would you ask Congolese people to grieve for a dead King of Belgium?

Spare me the usual socialist bogus false equivalency games.

I wasn't for a moment drawing any equivalence.

By the way, Karl Marx looks like he's glued his own pubes to his face.

Shut it down, guys!

By the way, we’ve strayed miles away from you defending Pauline Hanson telling an Australian citizen to piss off back to Pakistan, but what Pocock is opposing is Labor reforms to Super. I actually agree with him and disagree with the Greens. Are you telling me you disagree with Labor, your party of the sensible centre?

I would say (as I have before) that you'd all be better off putting him on ignore and letting him sound off on everything that enters his mind undisturbed, but considering what this thread was before, I don't think this is actually worse.

I don't generally put people on ignore unless they devolve into hurtful personal attacks. Paul's managed to avoid that so far.

But you're probably right about the silliness of this thread in general.
