It happens, even from other younger whites, but I wouldn't label it 'widespread'.

It's the commercialized stereotypical black culture that white kids respond to. The materialism, the 'gangsta' lifestyle, the hedonism. It provides an identity, and an escape. This appropriation has been going on since the 1920s.

not directed at you, I'm just crying about all of the white males held back in society from top socioeconomic positions

Oh, I know. I just asked because I didn't know what you were boohooing.

Either side crying about the situation is getting old. It's as if no one can take this on without resorting to emotional appeals. I don't mean here on Atlas. Whites arguing against affirmative action, and other white guys getting hot and bothered pointing out the plight of the black man.

Yes.

I'm having trouble understanding why people are saying "no"?

I haven't voted, specifically because of 'widespread' being in the poll question. I take it to mean the question now has added weight to it, as if it is a "pandemic", but I don't know.

Obviously, there are some ignorant minorities who would be bigoted towards white people, but I couldn't say definitively if it's widespread, or how, so I abstain.

That's way too vague. Could we say the opposite then; racism towards blacks in the modern era is nationwide? Does it mean because it's found in Maine and Washington we could say it's 'widespread'? I doubt, either way, we could be that knowledgeable.

"Widespread" being in the OP fucked everything up. Smiley
