For some reason I find myself getting more anxious about this result. It would be very 2020 for the remaining states to all go to Trump by razor thin margins or even worse for Nevada to hold, but Arizona flip at the last second.

Biden should just go full Trump - declare victory and demand that the count stops while he is ahead. That would be rather hilarious to see trumpist tactics used against themselves.

So what do we actually think the Trump campaign announces in half an hour? It can't just be "stealing the election", they've already declared victory and it hasn't stopped any of the counts. I doubt it's a concession either.

They already said.  Its a lawsuit saying that 10k people voted in Nevada who dont' live in the state/moved out.

You cannot AFTER THE FACT disallow votes arriving after election day if the rules while voting were that votes just had to be postmarked by election day. Any rational person would agree to that.

Please celebrate, but don't gloat, if/when Biden takes the lead in these states counting mail ballots.  I don't believe that there is anything majorly fraudulent going on here, but it is still really hard watching apparent leads disappear even if you know it's coming.  I remember that well from the AZ-SEN and several CA House races in 2018.  We need to find a more efficient way of counting mail ballots going forward because this sort of result seems fishy to people who don't pay that close of attention to why it's happening, and that appearance can be real for so many people.

Well, allowing for the processing of mail ballots ahead of election day would certainly help a LOT, but republican legislatures in PA and MI did not want to allow that.

While I do want Biden to win the popular vote with as big as margin as possible, it is very discouraging going forward if he actually ends up winning the NPV by 5 points in SUCH a tight election where numerous states are super close. The NPV-EC discrepancy is getting unsustainably large. Are we really at a point where democrats have to get 5%-points more votes than republicans to win elections?

Reading some right wing stuff around the net. These people really seem completely convinced that the entire election is one big fix. The levels of delusion is sad and super dangerous. I have been of the opinion than Joe Biden is the right president for this moment in time, but if the majority of Trumpists think that Biden flat out stole the election, then there is not going to be any healing. Just one further reason why it is too bad that Biden didn't win in an undisputed landslide, although I guess Trump would have claimed voter fraud even if he was blown out by 15 points.
