Given the fact that I honestly don't think he was expecting to win, yes. He gained name recognition, and is now considered the leader of the libertarian movement. While I doubt he will run in 2012, if he can endorse Johnson, and get his supporters as crazy for Johnson as they were for him, Johnson could win some states.
