In 2000, in the last week of the campaign, the 1976 DUI charge against George W Bush was revealed to the public.

In this scenario, Al Gore was the one who had the 1976 DUI conviction revealed.  Bush had no DUI charge or conviction in his life.  Gore admits to the 1976 charge and the conviction, in which he paid a $150.00 fine, and his driving privileges were temporarily suspended in Tennessee where the conviction took place.

Question

How does this event, where the DUI conviction is against Gore, not Bush, affect the 2000 election?

Bush/Cheney vs Gore/Lieberman

I believe in this scenario that Bush wins Florida uncontested, and adds on Iowa and New Mexico, which he lost by very, very, narrow margins.

He possibly adds on Wisconsin and Oregon as well.
