Why is Romney so great?

I have tried to point out some of his leadership qualities in the post that you have quoted.

Romney is a man of action who gets the job done.  He has demonstrated executive, legislative and organizational abilities that I believe would serve the nation well were he to be elected President.

I know many disagree on these points, however, these are my views in this matter.

Salt Lake City Olympics
With the 2002 Winter Olympics mired in controversy and facing serious financial crisis, Romney was asked to become President and CEO of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee.  In his three years in Salt Lake, Romney erased a $379 million operating deficit, organized 23,000 volunteers, galvanized community spirit, oversaw an unprecedented security mobilization to ensure public safety and led one of the most successful Olympics in the nation's history.

1994 Senate Election
Romney received 41% of the vote against Senator Ted Kennedy, making it the closest election of Kennedy's long Senate career.

Governor
Elected 2002

Reforming state government.  Has launched a major overhaul of Massachusetts state government, working to eliminate waste and patronage and to make outdated bureaucracies more efficient.

Imposing fiscal discipline.  Working with the Legislature, he has brought the state's fiscal house in order, turning a $3 billion budget deficit into a $700 million surplus without raising taxes or borrowing.

Made education a top priority.  He put in place the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship Program, which gives top achieving students four years of free tuition at any of the state's colleges or universities.  Has  proposed and signed into law a program to jumpstart the construction or renovation of more than 400 schools across the state and invested additional funds in after school programs in the lowest performing districts.  Has been a proponent of charter schools, leading the effort to increase the number of these innovative public schools.

If he runs for re-election as Governor, he will win in a landslide.

Whether he runs for re-election as Governor or not, he will be continuing to lay the groundwork for his inevitable and inexorable ascendancy to the Presidency of the United States.

Just be aware that blind optimism leaves yourself open to all kinds of criticism.  Romney might win if he ran for re-election; and, he might not.  It certainly isn't a sure thing that he would win, and certainly not in a landslide, as you have stated like it's a fact.

You've covered your bases, Romney might win and he might not win.  I don't know why anybody would or should criticize anybody else for making a statement on the outcome of some future election.  Disagree, yes, but, hey, if any wish to criticize my statement on the outcome of some possible future election, feel free.
