Wow. How old are you exactly?

Here is my prediction, along party lines first:

2004: DEM
2008: DEM
2012: DEM
2016: DEM
2020: GOP
2024: DEM
2028: GOP
2032: GOP
2036: GOP
2040: DEM

That's as far out as I'm willing to go, anything after that is really a lot of BS. The line I have is just guessing based on the pendulum theory, applied to party dominance. But we don't follow that directly, and I'm guessing there's going to be some major shakeups in AMerican Politics in the next 40 years. So, add in candidates, and see what changes:

2004: Kerry/Richardson vs. Bush/Guiliani = KERRY
2008: Kerry/Richardson vs. McCain/Powell = MCCAIN
---------Powell dies (natural causes)
2012: McCain/Paul vs.  H. Clinton/Edwards = MCCAIN
2016: Edwards/Obama vs. Frist/Coleman = EDWARDS
2020: Edwards/Obama vs. Coleman/Allen = EDWARDS
2024: Obama/Herseth vs Coleman/Pawlenty = COLEMAN
2024:Coleman/Pawlenty vs Newsom/Jackson =COLEMAN
---That's Jesse Jackson Jr., and Sen Norm Coleman/Gov. Tim Pawlenty, both of MN.
2028: Newsom/Jackson vs. HuhHuh = ???GOP?Huh
2032: Obama/Richardson vs. Huh?? =  OBAMA
2036: Obama/Richardson vs.  Huh?? = OBAMA
2040: Richardson/Jackson vs. ???GOP??? = RICHARDSON

lol. This is really a lot of bull, but I think a Kerry vs. McCain race would do far more to heal this country than a Kerr/McCain ticket would.
