If we're going to be creative with the regional names, it's honestly one of the least creative things to go back to a name that we had before the reset.
It's also stupid to have every other name as one word- and then give the South three words as their name. Hence why I didn't vote for the awful name of Atlantic Union in the North.
If we're going to get a new name for the South why do we have to go back in time and pick the worst name

3. We don't. The point is, why does everyone go apesh**t fing bananas whenever a region does something that offends their "tastes" and threatens to "force conformity" either by Federal dictate or a regional invasion.
Let them name the region whatever the hell they want and let the people of the region vote on it, and lets respect those people and the decision they have made.
