Not a single person in these satellite caucuses has been for Biden so far... Could Biden really end up coming in 4th or even 5th?

Of course he could.

Biden is capsizing hard at these satellite locations.

It doesn't bode well for Biden.

Current numbers snuck from a notebook in Florida:

Bennet 0
Biden 32
Klobuchar 47
Buttigieg 38

Bye Biden!

Not to jump to conclusions, what what does this tell us if anything about the final result?

Nothing.

But Florida caucus speaks volumes.

Klochubar, Biden, Buttigieg viable in FL, Sanders not (first round)

Not in that order. It's Klochubar, Buttigieg, Biden.

Second round Port Charlotte results:

56 Klobuchar
43 Buttigieg
33 Biden

Biden picked up zero votes
THis is horrible for Biden, but can one extrapolate much from this?

This is going to be reported and will definitely have an impact on the caucuses later today.

Two points with regards to the retirement home number in Florida.

I had Klobuchar only losing by 50k to Trump which is nothing but Sanders losing by 300k.
The old vote is going to critical for any democratic nominee in Florida/Arizona if a dem is to win here. Sanders offers different strengths like in ohio, kentucky, west virginia but I don't think he can win in florida or arizona.

Klobuchar does expand the map but she has zero support with young people or people in the liberal states.

Dems think the fracking policy is bad but its actually sound policy for votes in the midwest.

As if the liberal states are going to vote Trump.

Is it possible that Biden gets Jeb'ed tonight?

Why not? He's a weak candidate.

Now is probably a good time to remember that Biden's previous runs for President went nowhere. Seems like he doesn't have much luck running for President.

Or skill.

Horrific start for biden

Not only is he doing worse than expected in college areas and the cities

He is seeing a late klobuchar surge take away some of his voters

Some? More like most.

Biden seems to be collapsing before our eyes. Unless there is just a totally different dynamic in the precinct caucuses, he is in huge trouble.

If this does happen, I hope Republicans don't give impeachment and the 'Burisma scandal' credit for it. Trump is probably going to invite foreign interference in US elections anyway, but a minor downside of Biden doing badly will be that he could be even further encouraged.

Biden is underperforming precisely because of Burisma.

Guys, the campaigns know the results.
They collected the data from their people on the ground.
And they are acting accordingly.

The results are as follows:

1) Pete
2) Bernie
3) Warren
4) Biden
5) Amy

Source?

Just based on the way the candidates have reacted to the current situation.
Amy accepting defeat.
Biden and Warren questioning the results.
Sanders sort of declaring victory.
Pete declaring victory.

This doesn't follow your logic. Klobuchar's campaign said they did better than Biden.

In that case:

1) Pete
2) Bernie
3) Warren
4) Amy
5) Biden

No1 knows the result. There's  rumoured results going around which shows Sanders beating Pete by 1-2% in the Final Count & 4% in the initial count with overall State-wide delegate allocation as Sanders 7, Pete 6, Warren 4, Biden 1.

That may well be fake though. It is probably between Pete & Bernie with Warren 3rd. Most of the college towns & metro areas were initially reporting & rural areas where Pete/Biden is strong & CD4 where Bernie is strong hadn't reported.

It is tough to say. Pete is a fraud & will claim victory anyways. I am sure Bernie's team has the numbers too. Even if Pete is 1 Delegate short or within 1-2% of Bernie, he will probably claim victory anyways. The betting market still has Sanders winning by a big margin.

False victory claim is going to bury Pete.

They DO have (or will have in the next 12 hours) FOR SURE and 100% all of the initial results before the candidates under 15% were eliminated, right? Can't they just issue delegates to ALL candidates based on those "first round" ballots under theae unique special circumstances, because at least we would know FOR SURE that those delegates represent the will of the voters?

Seems like the best solution at this point. If the caucus is made null and void, that's a disadvantage to Sanders and Buttigieg.

Cancel election?
Good luck with that.

If that happens, I am ready to call the election this November -  for Trump.

So, according to Bernie, these are the Iowa results:

1) Bernie
2) Pete
3) Warren
4) Biden
5) Amy

Warren in 3rd is undisputed.

So, these are the results we're sure of:

1) Pete 1 or 2
1) Bernie 1 or 2
3) Warren
4) Biden 4 or 5
4) Amy 4 or 5

I wouldn't use this caucus and sure in the same sentence if I were you.

But the conclusion is: Nobody drops out and Biden is badly damaged, possibly beyond repair. If he is not viable in New Hampshire, it's curtains for Biden.

It's not that hard to spin it as a Biden win.

Right! The headlines aren't about Biden being fustigated with a fifth place finish - they should be! This is a win for him. He's unwounded by an awful, awful result.

He will be wounded later today.
