We finally have a Democrat with Patricia Chesbro!
Following up on this:
https://www.adn.com/politics/2022/05/11/a-new-democrat-is-running-for-us-senate-in-alaska-scrambling-the-races-dynamics/She's a former teacher and superintendent from the Matanuska-Susitna Borough and has been active in teachers' unions there for many years. According to the article, neither Murkowski nor Tshibaka have officially made any statements about her entering the race yet, and Chesbro hasn't encouraged supporters to rank Murkowski or Tshibaka second.
This might be a bad take, but I wonder if Chesbro could benefit at all from being politically active in one of the most Republican parts of the state.
