I'm ok with trading out Ryan, Williamson, or Delaney for Bullock. Mainly because that's the trio that annoyed me the most in the first debate.
are you coming for marianne rn? girlfriend you are so on

My wife bought her book right after the debate, but not to support her run for President (Although she did mix it up a bit from what we are used to seeing in these formats).

Did Warren just say the Green New Deal would create 1.2 Million new jobs in Michigan, or did I mishear?

What the hell is “environmental racism”? I didn’t even pay attention to the other things she called racist because I was too busy trying to piece together that one statement.

It was a huge thing back in the 1990s and there were multiple books and activist projects focusing on where highest levels of air/water pollution were based with consequently much higher rates of certain types of deaths etc than the national average....

Location, location, location....

Warren: Good critique of MNC shifting mfg jobs overseas and brief attempt to discuss "Race to the Bottom" global capital critique.....

Delaney: Attacks Warren.

* Incoherent wrangling *

Warren: American. Workers should have stake in negotiating trade deals

I thought this sh**t ended at 10 lol.  We got another hour

Me too, got off work and turned it on a 6 PST, and it looked like it had started 30 Min or an hour earlier....

Wouldn't call it a *sheet*, but if you think so, you could always turn it off... Wink

Never did that with the PUB primary debates in '08 / '12 however, because political junkie and all that.... Smiley

Wow, I didn't know this, but sure enough the internet has confirmed it ...

Guard and Reserve units made up about 45 percent of the total force sent to Iraq and Afghanistan, and received about 18.4 percent of the casualties. With hundreds of thousands of men and women having served, the National Guard has more than earned a place of remembrance for its part in the 14 year war.

I lost a friend in the Oregon National Guard in Iraq 2.0 in combat.   Sad

The States with the best rated Ntl Guard Units tended to be preferred (Oregon was considered one of the best in the Country) and suffered some of the highest % of casualties under Rumsfeld's policies.

But I digress....

Tim Ryan just said "Nicaragua, Guatemala, and El Salvador" in reference to the Golden Triangle countries when the Golden Triangle countries are Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador.

Is this the end of the Tim Ryan campaign?

I don’t think even 10% of Americans know what the golden triangle countries are.

Anybody who served in Vietnam does.....

Didn’t watch debate but my dad said Bullock was one of the winners

Sure you can find a way to watch it somewhere even if you didn't DVR, suspect it will be repeated although you might need to set a DVR if it's too late for you, but at least you are on PST.

Bullock going full General Ripper is an unexpected but quite fun twist.

Nice catch and Dr. Strangelove reference....

Bullock rebounding right now with this closing statement after that really strange foreign policy answer.

Like why is a Montana Democrat advocating for nukes?

Remnant John Birch Society influences in some remote cabins in the Rockies?

Does Bernie have a staffer and volunteer shortage?

Don't believe he has a volunteer shortage (but it's still a bit too early for Volunteer time expect possibly for creating focal points in a few early caucus/primary states other than building regional/county contact lists), but he did lose some of '16 staffers to other campaigns or private sector jobs if I recall.

There was also a bit of a thing with a Labor struggle among his Union staffers involving compensation levels that recently became a bit of thing just a few weeks back.

Will people actually send money to Williamson after this debate?

We bought her book after the first debate: " Politics of Love".

I would imagine sales should increase after this debate.

In terms of conventional campaign contributions, likely not so much but hey....

It's becoming a thing, especially since it clearly gets under McConnell's skin, as well as among voters within the great state of Kentucky, and he even addressed the Moniker on the Senate floor the other day!

Republican MSNBC commentator Joe Scarborough attracted McConnell's ire on Monday Morning where he used the term "Moscow Mitch" (16) times.
