He would probably forgo reelection, as he would be 83 on election day in 2024. Also, his Presidency more than most would involve lots of confrontation with Republicans in Congress, and so he would have to spend a lot of time appealing directly to voters at rallies and in speeches. If he were to get a challenge in 2024, it would be on the basis of his age more than anything.
