Not only will it give Trump Minnesota, it will hand him Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania as well. Seeing the church of target being looted is going to put the fear in suburban white moms who will now vote for law and order. I’m not saying the anger black communities feel isn’t justified nor warranted, but America is still a very guarded country when it comes to perceptions of race relations.

The reason why Trump won in 2016 is that he successfully used fear about hordes of POC flowing over borders and the threat of burning down cities as a war upon the “American” way of life that huge swaths of the population see the world through.

wrong

He really won because voters who hated both him and Hillary broke for him At the end
Langley because Hillary never fully recovered from the FBI suddenly announcing that she was still under investigations days before the election.

Secondly there is big difference between candidate trump Attacking A black President for the racial tensions in the county vs Trump now actually being the president this time around.

I do not believe for 1 second that a sitting president Dem or Republican benefits when something like this goes down while they are in office. having chaos even if its racial chaos does not help trump at all. if anything it simply plays into Biden theme about returning to normalcy and A wanting to move away from the chaotic Trump years

In that tweet Trump said "when the looting starts, the shooting starts"

YIKES! Just like with Charlottesville VA, Trump turned a leadership opportunity into an a sad attempt by a petulant man-child. He also threatened violence. This response is more disappointing than watching that police station go up in flames. Only Trump could turn a burned police station into a net loss.

WTF

Is this some kind of joke
I hope this is wrong because if he actually said this
he is making things a lot worse

and to think there were actually people on here not too long ago actually saying that Trump could win over some black voters because of Biden breakfast club interview.

Well Biden comments ain't got nothing on "when the looting starts, the shooting starts" lol

I think idea that riots benefit trump as some on here are claiming is ridiculous

This is a Sitting president and having this kind of chaos around does not help him at all.
It simply feeds into Biden message about moving away from the crazy trump years. I always thought Biden return to normalcy campaign was a bit silly but if this chaos keeps up I can actually see that message resonating with a lot of voters because I do think that many of them are going tired of trump going a twitter and making this Inflammatory statements that only makes things worse.

Also I do not for 1 second believe that suburban white voters are going be so upset by the riots that they will refuse to vote for this guy who looks like this lol

I hate to even bring race into this but the fact is Biden is a white man and I don't think average person sees any connection between him and young rioters burning down buildings on the news. maybe if it was Bernie the GOP could have tried to made that connection but when I think about Joe Biden words like Radical, Protest, Revolution or BLM is the last thing that comes to mind

Its going to be a lot harder for trump to use racial anger against him compared to him using it against black man like Obama or even a white woman like Hillary

I will say that as bad as trumps reaction to this has been.
It is nothing compared to some of the crazy and over the top stuff he was tweeting out in 2015

I never thought these protests would help Trump. When they become riots and incumbents act poorly they reflect badly on the incumbent.
So Trump is to blame for riots? Wow

Trump himself blamed Obama for the 2014 riots

Back to the OP topic: It is absolutely outrageous the lack of condemnation by Democrats of the riots. It is sickening. These people are destroying communities. When will they step up and lead! THIS IS NOT ABOUT GEORGE FLOYD ANYMORE. Businesses are being destroyed.

So a Businesses or building or is more important to you than A mans life
look it sucks that the buildings are being burned and destroyed but let me be very clear about this

A building can be repaired and replaced
George Floyd, Eric Garner and the many who have lost their lives to police violence can never be replaced

Sure I feel bad for bushiness owners who may have lost their building to a fire
but I feel way more sympathetic to a Mom who now has to bury their son or daughter because they were senselessly killed by the police

As I said many of these Businesses will be rebuild and they will recover from this
but for many of the Parents who will never get to see their kids again after their lives have been taken by the police....Many Moms and Fathers will never recover from that
