I am currently backing Conor Lamb, but I've watched Kenyatta effectively articulate himself and make his case. I could honestly see Lamb come in third. I agree that he really needs to switch this up and differentiate himself in the field. He's giving off too many "generic Dem" vibes and not enough energy brought to the table. I like his calm demeanor and blue-collar sentiment.

However, I could end up voting for Kenyatta if this keeps up. Fetterman, on the other hand, is unapologetic and comes off as callous. He's a terrible debater and can't throw together coherent points. Even still, he's the front-runner and doubt he wins the general. The man is too far left.

Then why is he winning easily? He can't be that bad of a candidate if he is crushing the field.

Purely name recognition and more funds. Nothing more.

Seethe and cope

Hello, my friend.  A truly glorious day upcoming for Fetterman supporters.  I don't think Big John is likely to set the world on fire but he seems like a decent guy, which is more than I can say for a far-right creep like Lamb or the Chamber of Commerce veteran Kenyatta who wants to flex his faux-progressive muscle while doing the bidding of his capitalist leadership in the party.

Seethe and cope and cope and seethe

Maybe this insufferable White Savior can start shrieking about The Dreaded Shotgun Incident some more.  Seems to be working out well for him.

It's amusing, to be honest. If Lamb is the best candidate, why isn't he crushing Fetterman in the polls?

This is what happens when you (1) spit on your base and (2) don’t get coronated by the establishment. In past election cycles, he may have been able to get away with this with the help of Chuck Schumer and the DSCC, but they have evidently decided to remain on the sidelines for this primary season (which, to me, is a good thing, since most of their past coronated primary candidates ended up falling short in their respective general election contests).

Several establishment figures lined up behind him.  But when none of them resulted in any traction at all for Lamb, the big guns were never brought out.  If it was close Joe would've been rolled out in Scranton or whatever but at this point  - to get egg on his face like that is probably seen as counter-productive.

Trump attacked McCormick really hard at the rally today. He said McCormick would be like Cheney/Romney/Kinzinger, said he is controlled by McConnell, said he's weak on China and said he's a "RINO liberal Wall Street insider". He also said "He’s not MAGA" and mocked him by saying "If anybody was within 200 miles of me, he hired them".

Trump never attacked Vance's opponents in Ohio like that, I wonder why he's going so hard after McCormick?

Excited for the race to see who the KHive's newest darling candidate will be.

"Daddy Joe and Mommy Nancy said we need a strong Republican Party.  Plus OMG! Dr. Oz would be the first Muslim Senator from PA!"

The white working class voted for Tom wolf not Fetterman who has no general election accomplishment at all.

Cope and seethe
The "Articulate" Left at work here

It's not our fault your candidate is the worst Senate candidate in recent memory.

Friend, the tyrannical mods removed my previous post, but it was to the effect that you are correct in refusing to waste valuable typing time responding to cheerleaders of the Dem. establishment who give you snark and insinuate that you are an idiot.  "Articulate left".  BAH!  Why does one need to articulate about a primary where one candidate is about to win by like 40 points.

Fetterman with upwards of 70% out in Real Pennsylvania, where hearty, hard-working folks take a lunch pail to work and fix their own cars on Saturday morning.  These fine people know an empty suit when they see one, especially when put up against a pretty genuine dude like John Fetterman.

Tough to watch this immediate endorsement from Biden.  John has a chance to be a decent US Senator and we can only hope our ineffective corpse of a President doesn't drag him down along with his failing administration.

lol you tried it. good try tho!

I don't follow.  I mean, obviously Fetterman doesn't want someone with a ~20% approval among independents attached to his hip in what's going to be a close race.  And if you are gung-ho about "flipping" a seat I'd focus on intangibles rather than association with unpopular public figures.  This is smart stuff and I provide it for free.  Godspeed!

Fetterman's entire thing has been that he wants to be that 51st vote for Democrats, to prop *up* the Biden admin, to actually *help* get things done. So, no.

No, what?  I'm again not following.  Are you saying that carting Joe around PA is going to be a boon for Fetterman's chances?  Hope you don't fancy a career a campaign managing.

And you’ll be very disappointed when Fetterman the 51st Vote arrives and all the sudden Coons and Hickenlooper are playing the same game Sinema and Manchin are.  Tell me you are at least perceptive enough to recognize that.  I support John because I just think he’s authentic, which is more than I can say for 99% of Congress.

Lol Biden endorsed Fetterman? Good now can tie him to Bidenflation

If Fetterman is smart he won't let him and he'll stay as far away as possible over the next several months.

Oz world! Oz world! Party time! Excellent!

In all seriousness its gonna f---ing blow when Fetterman loses in November off turnout differential alone and the consensus starts calling him damaged goods. Better not do him like Sestak.

Fetterman could beat Oz.  I wouldn’t call him the favorite but it’s not some unfathomable thing.

Fetterman is indeed favored over Oz.

I was very much a doomer about November until the SCOTUS draft leak. Ever since then, I think... we still lose both Houses, but not AS bad, and Fetterman is absolutely favored against Oz, toss-up against McCormick.

Oz is a celebrity doofus and this guy running for Governor seems like a real mental case.  Could well be enough for Fetterman.

You’re more pressed about this race that is OVER than any Lamb supporter I’ve seen. Lol.

Nah, I'm enjoying the cope from people like you after literally everything I've said about this race got proven right. Again - don't blame me because your candidate ran the most pathetic Dem campaign since Coakley.

C'mon, sawx.  Look at this dude.  Guy's signature is just a picture of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris smiling.  Might as well talk to a rock.  A rock that is IN SHAMBLES right now.  But a rock nonetheless.

Bask in the light of your own wisdom, friend.  I was, naturally, far more pessimistic about this than you were.  I could not have foreseen Lamb being so low-energy.  Can't even win a single county after the entire state establishment throws endorsements his way.  No more deserving people in the world to have egg on their face!

The steal begins. Oz is another victim.

No doubt.  These fat cat Romney Republicans are going to take it away from Dr. Oz and his working class army.  Sad to see.  President Biden should do something!

Man.  Fretting and concern trolling over Fetterman's condition (when he's been given a green light to campaign and go forward) all the while singing the nonstop praises of President Confused Dementia Grandpa wandering around on stage shaking hands with imaginary people and talking nonsense.  I remember this sick, sad game during the primary with Bernie who's out there throwing first pitches at Vermont baseball games at 81 years old.

For people whose entire interest in politics revolves around elections and only elections and all the BS that goes with it, they're not very good at this.  You need to seem at least a little NOT completely-full-of-sh*t, fellers!
