19K so far in the Dem. primary, but they of course have still a week to go.

who would that benefit?
Trump, I guess.

In IA the large turnout was due to evangelical voters who did not poll as likely voters. That translated to the win for Cruz and strong 3rd for Rubio. If SC has any similarity to IA (and it may not) then Trump may not be the beneficiary.

Does that mean THE BLACKS are voting for Trump?

Or that the higher the percentage of blacks the more the whites like Trump

It likely reflects that many of those counties with high black populations tend to be poor counties with lower levels of education for all residents. Since Trump does best with those without a college degree, he should do well in those counties.
