True. I read the article about Don't Ask, Don't Tell that was linked in the OP linked article.  Nothing about the homosexual livestyle in there though.

It isn't hypocritical that Domenici voted for impeachment since his justification for voting that way was because Clinton committed perjury, not because Clinton had an affair.

I'm sure he voted or did a speech on the sanctity of the marriage at some point. If not then, perhaps during DOMA or something else.
