District Three Special Senatorial Election

I believe that the special election for the District Three Senate Seat formerly held by Senator Texasgurl (resigned on July 4th) is required by the constitution to be held this weekend.

Although the website hosting the constitution is currently unavailable, I believe the wording is something to the effect of "a special election must be held in the week after the seat becomes vacant" which would mean that the election is due to be held this weekend.

The candidates will be:

Fritz (D-MN)
PBrunsel (R-IA)
DemRepDan (AFIP-IL)

I'll have to check again. I won't get an instant messenger because my father is afraid they will give us a lot of spam, so me and my brothers and sisters do not have any instant messenger.

I don't understand how it would give you a lot of spam? You could just sign up to a hotmail e-mail account for msn which means any spam would go to that rather than home e-mail addresses.
