I think Omar said one or two things that were legitimately anti-Semitic, but then Republicans tried to capitalize on it and then Omar started being criticized for things that were supposedly anti-Semitic that really weren't.

Sure, but you seemed to be implying the folks upset about what Trump said wouldn’t consider it anti-Semitic if a liberal had said it under identical circumstances.  My point is that some of us have been repeatedly calling out the anti-Semitic left for a while, so it’s not like Trump is being held to some sort of double-standard.  That said, I apologize if I misinterpreted your post.

No apology needed but I wasn't just implying, I was genuinely asking. And I meant "somewhat liberal" to contrast not only with those broadly on the right, but also with those who are on the left wing of the Democratic party, since both camps are often suspected of anti-semitism anyway.
