She's not even a real Republican. She ran as a Democrat before and was endorsed by multiple former Democratic governors of WA. It's really more helpful to think of this race as moderate and sane vs. so far left bats--t crazy even the maroon avatars here don't like it than as Republican vs. Democrat.
