I don't believe they hate Democracy; they have a different view on how to protect on what a democracy is and how to protect it, and in my view, I think that their ideology doesn't help this democracy.
"A different view of democracy" is a funny way of saying "Elections are fine as long as we always win them no matter how many votes we get or don't get, and anyone who speaks out against Der Fuhrer should be shot." (Last part is literally what one of Trump's lawyers said about Chris Krebs, to say nothing of the threats against election workers and state officials that Trump supporters have been sending out for weeks.)
