There is nothing morally wrong with eating/wearing the fur of any non-endangered animal (not humans of course) It doesn’t matter how cute they are, if they can be safely seared to perfection and aren’t endangered, go ahead. The only issues are health related (aka, bats)

I mean, consider how sacred cows are to certain cultures, and now compare that with how we see animals such as dogs and horses.

As long as the source is safe for human harvesting, is done so with decent regulation, and is not an endangered animal, it is perfectly fine.

Unfortunately the current ways in which meat is farmed are both unsustainable, and dangerous. This applies more so to the taboo sources, but even to conventional meats such as beef and chicken.

Rightly or wrongly, the US Census categorization of race and ethnicity is incredibly stupid and based on rather colonial/racist thinking.  The idea that someone can be a "Latino" is retarded.  I don't care if you're a wokester looking to create as many protected classes as possible or a subconscious racist trying to gatekeep who is truly "White" ... it makes zero sense.

If we're going to classify in this way, it should be based off of historically literate ethnic categories that actually look at people's origins.  "Latinos" should be split off into either a broad Indigenous category or simply Iberian (or other) Europeans, with those truly being mixed treated like any other "mixed race."  Someone who is 50% Mayan and 50% Spanish is not functionally different than someone who is 50% Nigerian and 50% English in origin.

Functionally nobody is different based on race. Culturally? You bet the half Mayan half Spanish person would be different from the English Nigerian mix.
