His DNC speech, notably awful relative to most keynote addresses, removed him from my fanclub.

Really...I thought his speech was the best one.  The only point during the whole DNC I cheered out loud at was when he started talking about Rural Broadband, and said that line along the lines of, "If we can send a job to China, we can send a job to Danville, VA!"  Most of the speakers didn't talk enough policy, especially not good policy like that.

why are you guy(s) on here wasting time jacking off to some politician? mark warner isn't going to get you anywhere in life; he's not going to get you money, or girls, or happiness. there is no correlation between mark warner and your well-being. so, what's the point, really?

Well, given his location and interests, Ben could very well end up working in Warner's Senate office, and I bet he could get hired on as staff if he wanted, eventually.  In which case Warner would be a steady paycheck.

So effectively it's all based around him being a solid, moderate administrator who happens to be from your state?  Haha, that's fair, but that's not really exciting.

If I have no idea who you're talking about, as a political junkie, I doubt this Moscone guy is the equivalent of Warner who delivered the keynote address at the DNC convention.

I know, I know. But you ought to have heard of him. He's the reason Dianne Feinstein is a Senator today. He's also the reason an unhealthy treat became associated with a court of law.

But I can't think of any equivalent at all.

I always heard "Muscone" attached to "Harvey Milk," as in, "Muscone" was the other guy who got shot by junk-food guy.
