Moran's a great guy, and seems smart as a whip.  I think his heart's in the right place: helping Virginia compete in the 21st century.  He even expressed fondness for Tom Friedman.

It's a shame, I think that Brian Moran would be a spectacular governor.

If we can't have him, though, I'd be happy to take the other reasonable candidate.  Don't know too much about Deeds, but he has to be better than...yeah.

BTW, just my personal prediction: McDonnell wins in Nov.  Obviously not what I want, but...

Wow.  This is pretty fantastic, to say the least.  I don't see how Deeds loses at this point.

It always amazes me when people care deeply about the death penalty one way or the other.  It's an extremely cold-button issue for me.  (My personal position is keep the death penalty legal but never use it...but I really don't care that much)

I'm glad I don't live in Virginia.

I'm glad I don't live in Oregon.  Chilly there, though it's nice to visit.  The Pacific Northwest is gorgeous, but not exactly my idea of paradise.

To each his own, I guess.
