I am pretty sure that the founders of this country fought a war to not have people named Lord Ashcroft weigh in on our politics.

If anyone can start a polling firm, why don't we on Atlas start one? If everyone crowdfunds like $10 we could honestly do a really high quality poll of a swing state, or a some niche congressional districts.

A. That's an interesting idea, but

B. Lord Ashcroft isn't "anyone," he's been a prominent British pollster for decades. The shocker here is that he's a prominent British pollster and I've never heard of him polling the US before.
